This is a story passed down from a long time ago. Of a couple though to live forever but at the price of a terrible curse.
It starts in a castle far in the mountains isolated from everyone. A man and a woman by the names of aku and asha. This is the love story of aku and asha and this is their beginning.
Aku was a young warrior born to a wealthy family. Trained in the finest of arts and music available. Asha was as well born to a wealthy family but was trained in dance music and arts. They met on accident one day on the shore of their home land in ishbar. Ishabr was well known for it's bright minds and wealthy families. Aku and asha were both wondering along the shore of the land found themselves confronted by one another. Lost in one another's gaze aku and asha under the sunset lost in wonder by one another aku having asha wrapped in his arms and telling her he loved her. After their meeting on the shore they parted ways and went home promised to meet again.
Later in the week aku couldn't bare it anymore and had to see asha. He wanted to have what he felt on the shore line back in his arms. He wanted to have to comfort of the woman who had brought him so much joy by his side once more. With the feeling of his love for her frowning and hers for him growing as well the Gods got more and more jealous. To split them up they devised an awful plan l.
Zeus turned into aku and met with asha to take her away. Asha draped in his arms felt something wrong and pushed him away and knew it was not aku she could tell that it was an imposter and asked who it was. Zeus revealing himself told asha that him and his brothers were jealous and would punish her and aku if their love did not stop. Deep in sorrow and sadness asha agreed and told Zeus that their love would be no more. When all was said and done aku got to ahsas home and said "my queen iv come to see you for I have missed you so much and want nothing more then to give you a kiss my love". Aku not aware of the deal that was made was pushed away by asha and was told that he needed to go and never come back.
Aku deep in sorrow and sadness pleads for her to reconsider and let him in. Asha loving him more then life itself and feeling a deep guilt let's him in and tells him everything. Aku I'm sorry I had to do this but the Gods will punish us if our love continues. Aku being bold said forget what the Gods think for it is something we have that they can only dream of having.we have a love so strong that they envy it and desire the same but can not have. I will bare any punishment for nothing will keep me from loving you asha.
With those words their fate was sealed and a curse brought upon the two of them. The lovers curse was that during the day aku would turn into a phoenix and during the night asha would turn into a owl. The lovers were cursed to Neve be able to see one another again in their human state. Deep in sorrow and angry at the Gods aku cursed their names and swore vengeance on the good that put a curse worse then death in them. Though asha was a owl she knew her love was distressed and did her best to calm him.
The curse would last 20 years and put a great deal of heart ache on Botha and eventually the Gods seeing the sadness from both grow. The Gods laughing at the curse but only because the sadness causing the two lovers amused what they didn't have.
Eventually the lovers could not take it any longer and when the sun was setting they both saw one another for the first time in years and leaped off a cliff. Draped in one another's arms they died and we're finally released of a curse that is told to be worse then death to those who have true love.
