The vibe when I awoke this morning wasn't good, so I knew something wasn't going to be good. I got up, went downstairs to turn on the radio while I pack up a safety kit with my bag ready to go just in case something would happen.
I got my walkie - talkie and the radio to put in the shelter. When I got inside the storm warning was going off. I knew the vibe wasn't right. I grabbed my bag and ran to the storm shelter. As I got in the shelter I got the walkie - talkie and said over it "Everyone that is in the area get to shelter there has been a tornado nearby, I repeat anyone that is in the area get to shelter over. "Copy that", someone replied back over the walkie - talkie.
