All These Little Fun Things

Chapter 2

Nico's POV

I stared at the science quiz my eye's were staring at the question so hard that I might just burn a hole into it.

What is a black hole?

Sighing a bit I stared at the first question making me wish I paid more attention to my father's tutoring. I did pay attention but it all just slipped alway and that freaking sucked.

I glance over at Will who was writing down the answers quicker than the flash ran through the speedforce.
He stopped and glanced at me but thankfully he smiled at me making my cheeks turn red.

Turning back to my paper I began to write the answer down determined to answer the first question because I didn't want to take this home for homework because my father would kill me.

A celestial object that has a gravitational force so strong that light cannot escape it. That is believed to be created especially in the collapse of a very massive star.

Smiling gently I moved onto the next question.

How far away is the sun.

Tapping the pencil on the paper I looked at it for a few more minutes and began to write down the answer.

92.96 million miles.

I moved down to the third question.

Why do zebras have stripes

Grinning I wrote my best answer not caring if I got this one wrong.

So it can blend in with the tall grass, making it much more difficult to see.

I moved onto the fourth question.

Why is the sky blue

Chuckling I wrote down the answer.

The earth is surrounded by an atmosphere. The way the sun's light travels through the atmosphere makes the sky look blue.

I frowned making myself feel a bit stupid about the answer I wrote but it was the best I got and my eye's landed on the last question.

What is science?

Grinning I wrote down the answer.

Science is the study of nature and behavior of natural things and the knowledge that we obtain about them.

Ms.Vandom's voice rang through my ears, "Alright everyone! Pass up your papers except Mr. Di Angelo. You just bring yours up to my desk." 

The entire classroom broke into a fit of giggles and chuckles.

"QUIET!!" She yelled making me flinch and the rest of the classroom go quiet, getting up from my seat I walked to her desk and handed the paper to her. She smiled gently and I smiled back and went back to my seat.

Ms.Vandom gathered up all the papers and sat back at her desk and began to grade them and the bell rang  right on cue. Getting up I got up and headed out of the classroom but I felt a hand grab my wrist making me stop in my tracks. Looking over my shoulder I saw Will smiling at me once more, his blue eye's seem to stare into my brown eye's.

"You didn't think I'd forget about you did i"

Will said as he grinned happily making me blush a bit. His hand gently slipped down to my hand and held my hand, which sent an electric tingle down my spine and straight to my groin, Gods I definitely didn't need to start haven't a problem in my pants. Will dragged me out into the hallway where all the kids were staring making me feel self conscious all of a sudden.

"Why is everyone staring at us?"

Will asked.

I just stared at the floor and answered his question.

"It's because of me I'm gay and a Child of Hades".

"So? That doesn't mean everyone  should hate on you." He said as we walked to our next class which was biology with Ms. Lair and I hoped she was nice. Will smiled at me and dragged me to room 203 and we both sat in the back and the good thing was Will was still holding my hand.

I blinked as I saw Ms.Lair at her desk. Her hair was light brown, her eye's were a beautiful blue color. She was wearing a blue turtleneck tank-top and white Jean's with red sneakers.

Will's POV

Grinning I smiled Ms. Lair who smiled back and looked down what looked like to be paper's. Looking over I saw that nico di Angelo was blushing and staring at the black metal top. Gods he was so cute I just wanted to gobble him up and keep him to myself. Grinning I untangled my finger's from his and placed my hand on his thigh making him glance at me. The classroom began to fill up with students and of course they all glance at us both when they walked in.

The bell rang and everyone was settled in their seats well almost everyone. Poor Nico was all flustered now but it was still cute just hoped now he could pay attention to the lesson.

"All right Everyone pay attention now! Class is starting!" Ms.Lair announced and I just grinned.
