Chapter 11: Insomniac

Besides the fact that it was a bit awkward during the sleepover, everyone seem to want to plan another one. Hopefully, it wouldn't be too soon, I'm not that fond sleeping THAT close to Sora. Anyways, walking to school was as boring as ever. I didn't even get some of the material, but I make do with what I have. I was so distracted about the sleepover, that I didn't notice I bumped into someone.

I look up. Oh my god. He looks like he's going to kill me. I mumble a soft "Sorry." before rushing straight into my classroom. That dude looks like he died and came back alive. I got shivers up my spine. Motegi approached my desk, seeming to notice my stranger behavior. I don't blame her. I was staring down at my desk, hands holding Mii for dear life.

"(Y/n)-chan, what's wrong?"

"Ah-I just ran into someone scary on the way inside..."

"He must've been really scary for you to be shaken up like that."

"What are you talking about Motegi-chan? I can barely watch horror movies!" I complain. "Of course I'm going to be intimidated by a scary dude!"

But I did manage to crack a little smile. Motegi's the best.

(Time Skip: Lunch)

We were all gathered up at the roof today, our little friends accompanying us. Nevertheless, Motegi just had to talk about the guy I encountered. Sora and Tazuki had different expressions. Sora's was of worry and Tazuki looked mildly concerned. I don't blame him. However, today's lunch was different, I saw the same dude from earlier, but this time he was somewhat sleeping. Because I was intimidated, I didn't realize how dark his eyebags were.

"Hey, I think he's having a nightmare." Motegi comments.

He shocked all of us when he got up, and headed towards the closest person. That was Motegi. The guy knocked her down to the floor and I immediately fled to her side. The three of us managed to get the guy off Motegi, and was down with a punch Tazuki had thrown (It's been too long since I watched this, so if I'm wrong, I'm sorry)  Tazuki was not happy. At all. The aura he gave off made me flinch and instinctively hide behind Sora, which where I almost screamed at what I did. What's happening to me? Why is my heart beating so fast? 

"Wha-?"

My focus was diverted to the male on the ground, seemingly more awake than I've ever seen him. He looked a bit confused, and was terrified of Tazuki's glare. He ran away immediately.

(Time Skip: School's over)

I packed up my bags, before Sora called me over. "What's up?" I asked.

"I noticed that guy from the roof looked injured, so I'm handing him this bandaid. Want to come with me?"

I didn't have anything to do after school today, so I shrugged. "Sure."

Somehow we found his class, and I felt bad for the guy. Whatever fear I held for him dissipated, as I learned that his behavior just came from the fact of the constant nightmares. Sora told me to go back home, which I asked "Why?"

"I'm going to meet him, and help him out. It might take the whole night though." Sora replied. "I want you to sleep, so good ahead. I'll tell you what happened tomorrow."

"Alright.." I said. "Take care!"
