Ugliness

The duel understanding of beauty and its opposite..... Ugliness 

How confused we seem to be in that philosophy of the divided poles

Old age.... the fading of the rose with those petals falling to fertilize the soil 

youth with all your energy you run and still do not know were to go.... unless

You stop, and listen to voices who have been before you on that path. 

Usually, those with greying hair and big hearts, with hands marked by toil

The greying hair a mark of wisdom not a mark of shame to be shunned

I see these as real and beautiful in truth they state their reality the truth 

Those in the rich world, that strange dimension, go under the knife

Changing the experienced lines of the mind that naturally mark the face

thinking that they are still accepted ,,,,,as young, and yes they believe beautiful. 

Pity that they take away their marks of wisdom..... and become strangely ugly.

Oh yes and sometimes the most beautiful person is shallow 

and the one judged ugly is deep as the biggest strongest river of all. 

For they travel with the current of life being shunned by everyone.

Still become heroes 

for they reach down to pull those caught drowning in their shame 

up into the light of reality and show them a mirror to see their inner selves

reflecting back their own un...ugliness......their own beauty within.
