This is my first time writing online story. hope you all stay tune.

It was a disastrous news of the day.

You have been allocated to May Sunny College which offers liturature studies that others school do not offer. It means the start of new life. Whether its good or bad ,I have no idea. All I knew that moment was I do not have good impression of that unknown school title located far away from home.

Leaving with my luggage, loneliness and emptiness filed my heart.

It felt just like what had happened years ago when i was only five.

"Mum , where are you going?" ,I cried.

Mother looked and stared at me. There was no sign of sympathy towards me.

She left in the blink of my crying eyes.

I stood at the same spot for a hours until my father came back home.

Even til today, father refused to tell me the reason for mother's leaving.

I knew deep in my heart it has got to be related to me. That stare etched in my memories never failed to go off.

....................................

First day of lesson in the new school felt so fresh.

"hey , what's your name?" someone tapped my shoulder.

"I am Dave Leo", I replied.

"Nice name you have , I am Dwayne. Welcome here" , he said.

"I am staying in room 12, how about you? " i asked.

'room 12 too , we are going to be roommates?", he sounded excited but I wasnt not.

Dwayne was a talkative boy. He told me his dad has placed him in this school as it's nearer to his home. He talked so much that I couldn't remember them in details.

After settling down for a few days , we prepared for our first lesson.

I went into the class with Dwayne. Before coming for class, I checked the timetable a notice that I will be having a form teacher by the name of Ms.Leo Cathy.

It was rare that I am going to have a lecturer with the same Sir-name as me.

"Ring.. ring .. " the lesson ring sounded off.

I felt uneasy.

when the teacher came in , i recognised that figure as it was so familiar.

That natural hazel hair with clear blue eyes like mine.

'It's her , i am sure it's her. even though after so many years, i can sense her present in my eyes again " I shouted loudly in my heart.

For a moment i wanted it to be unreal, indeed it was her - my mother.

She's teaching literature in this school.

.................

"Hello students, I am Ms.Leo. Welcome to your first lesson in this school. How are you all feeling?", she said it with a sense of excitement.

I could not stop myself from glazing at her and thinking of the past. That night she left me without a word said.

"Why did she leave me?why she stare at me with hatred before she left?why is she my teacher now?what has happened? Does she know I will be here ? Why will she want to teach me ?"questions ran through my mind like whirlpool.

"Everyone, lets start off by self introducing yourself, alright? Can you all tell me what are you favourite pasttime and why you all have choosen to join May Sunny College ? "

Everyone had stook up to share about their pasttime and reasoned why they were here. It was going to be Dwayne's turn. He said his past-time was fishing. Even though he tried escaping this fate of joining May Sunny, his dad was able to "fish" him each time his make his attempt.

Next will be my turn to present. " What shall I tell her? Does she remember me? She seems to be so happy now? Unlike the mother I saw when I was five.why?"

"Next student, please stand up and introduce yourself. The one wearing black T-shirt with a white coats on" Ms Leo pointed her fingers towards my direction. She was calling me , but not by my name.

"Yes....I am Dave Leo. I came from Sanfansico and my favourite pasttime is reading.I join this school because it offers litureture studies which other school does not? " the class laughed.

It wasnt supposed to be a joke, but to the other student they had choosen this school because they loved the clubs in this collegue, or their parents wanted them to, or it was near home.

" Ok , great to hear that you are going to love my lessons. Next student please.. " she smiled at me with a grin. That was her first time smiling at me. I wasnt used to seeing her face with smile, she seem to have changed , or she wasnt my Mum in the first place.

After having all the self introduction, she began her lesson by writing down ground rules for her class. She even gave us an assignment which was to find out more about our roommates and share with which other a poem which we appreciated very much.

The class was dismissed after she assigned the first assignment. Dwayne was excited to share with me about his views and passion for liturature as much as I do, but my mind was drifting to what had happened in the classroom.

" Dave! Can you hear me? I have told you which poem I love the most! Did you record it into your head? or you need me to repeat again? Are you alright? " He gave me a shove on the elbow.

Rather than holding on to the secret, I share with Dave what had happened during the night before my Mum left our family. He was shooked at first but after I showed him a picture where my mum hugged me when I was only a few months old. He was puzzle was I do now. However, he promised me not to share with anyone else, and we had a pact to keep this as our secret.

This was when I realized I wasn't alone. At the least, I had someone who I could share my thoughts with now.
