Mara exited hyperspace and found herself in front of the city planet as she called, the capital of the republic, Coruscant

She flew them past the topside to the bit below, the underground here made anything possible, you could disappear, buy weapons, spice, get bounty's, anything

She felt a new hope at the thought of it all, she could start a new life, it wasn't until she heard the child's voice that she remembered the kidnapped child they had

This wasn't the life they should have, not with the crew, perhaps they could find a good orphanage or a  nice person to drop them off with, the look in y/ns eyed instantly killed all of those thoughts

Y/n was smiling up at her
"Are we gonna be safe miss helmet lady?"

She couldn't, couldn't abandon them. She needed to protect them At all costs

"Yes little one, and you can call either Mara or mando, it's up to you"

"Alright miss Mara"
She smiles her normal giant smile

Mara smiles under her helmet but flinched when she felt a small hand wrap around hers. She looked down seeing y/n had grasped onto her hand and was holding closely for comfort, it was the most adorable thing she had ever seen, and she had seen baby Ewoks

She was done trying not to feel for the child and just smiles inside her helmet

The ship landed at a nearby port and the ram dropped letting them all out, she saw some police droids walk by and many shady looking figures but they all steered clear of her and the other two who were far more intimidating.

They made their way to the nearest cantina and entered the first one they found, it was nearly empty, only a few people were in there

She walked to the bar tender droid

"How much for a room?"

"100, credits a night"

Mara nods reaching into the pouch on her belt retrieving 300 credits
"Three nights please"

"Perfect ma'am, this will also cover the complementary breakfast that we shall provided for the duration of your stay"

"Thank you, well it's not much but for now it's......"

She suddenly noticed the small hand that was no longer clutched in her own

"Y/n?"

She turned to find the girl across the room talking to the....ahem "dancer " that had been twirling around the pole a few seconds ago

Mara walked towards them catching the last part of their conversation

".....yeah, the nice helmet lady is getting us a room"

The dancer smiles
"Well little one I'll be here all day if you wanna play games or something, theirs a halo set in all the rooms so...."
The dancer looks up at Mara and grew scared

"I was only talking with her ma'am "

Mara gently grabs y/ns hand
"Come on, let's go see our new room "

She takes her away from the pole dancer and into their room, it was large with three beds and a holo screen

"This is alright "
Says ace as he reaches for his helmet taking it off

This was the first time any of them had seen him without it

It was odd to them seeing the clones face of the republic army

Y/n of course smiles happily, her love of clones was genuine and her smile was infectious spreading to Mara ace and sarrak

They all got comfy and picked beds, since there were only three y/n would have to sleep with Mara but neither seemed to mind

They yawned and all laid down, even at this time Mara honored them mandolorian way and never removed her helmet in front of others

She fell asleep but she still felt arms wrap around her waist as y/n snuggled against the mando

*the next morning*

Ashoka

Ashoka tano was meditating in the Jedi temple her eyes closed per master yodas instructions

"See that witch is to come, you can, past present, same these always are, but future in constant motion it is. Use the for to guide you, see possible futures you may, mmmmmm many possible"

Ashoka had heard this a hundred times but this time felt different

she felt calm, still, her surroundings became foggy and she saw herself, she was older but not by much, next to her stood someone she didn't know, a kel'dor female, both of them were smiling and laughing at something, she tried to focus more and found it was a small person wearing a modified clone trooper helmet painted with the white and orange similar to her own face but with a different pattern, there were also armoires protection for things like the tendrils that came from her own head

She tried to focus mor but the image changed to Coruscant and one Jedi fighter entering the atmosphere

"What?"

She opened her eyes to find she was floating a foot above her cushion which she quickly fell back to

Yoda looks at her expectingly
"See something you did? Powerful vision it was, especially for a padawan, important it might be"

Ashoka explained it all as she gathered her things

"Going where are you?"

"I saw someone I didn't know in my vision master yoda, two someone's actually"

Yoda nods
"Dangerous this may bee mhhhhh, go alone you must not"

Ashoka nods
" I won't be alone
