Today was the day that the sixteen year olds-and one seventeen year old-got ready to go to homecoming.
Freddie, being a good friend like he always been, gave Roger a brand new ticket to homecoming.
❝I can't take this.❞ Roger said, staring at the small, crisp, piece of paper in his hand. ❝just take it!❞ Freddie hissed, ❝now you're able to go to homecoming.❞
❝I can't go Freddie, -atall!❞ Roger told, crumbling up the paper. Freddie ignored his reply, ❝so, you're just going to crumple up your- more like my ticket like that? That shit costs money y'know?❞
❝yes! I just did and I know!❞
❝unravel that ticket.❞ the older one demanded, ❝you are going to homecoming, and we all have a plan to get you there...❞
Brian set out his outfit for the night: a black button up shirt, a white vest, black dress pants, and a black, leather studded belt.
He and Freddie discussed about wearing the same thing because they were the ones bringing their dates to the dance. But Brian quickly disagreed because it would seem dull for two best friends to wear the same thing, and their date would ask,
❝why are you guys wearing the same thing?❞
So Freddie shook the thought off and went along with Brian's plan: not wearing the same thing.
Freddie decided to wear a white button up shirt, white, tight leather pants, his velvet tuxedo jacket, and a silver chain.
❝lovely.❞ Freddie clamped his hands together, happily gazing at his "perfect" outfit.

❝I hope you and Brian have a nice time together-publicly.❞ John told Roger on the phone.
❝hope so.❞ Roger sighed into the device. ❝what? Why 'hope so'?❞ the younger one frowned. ❝I just wish that people weren't so pessimistic about others being homosexual.❞
❝I ignored those people a long time ago.❞ John rolled his eyes, sounding clearly annoyed.
❝John.❞ Roger paused. ❝what? I did! They were so annoying-.❞
❝no, no. Are you-?❞
❝am I what? Annoyed? Yes I-.❞
❝John, are you gay?❞ Roger questioned. ❝no. I found out that I was bisexual about...❞ John thought for a moment, ❝what? Four years ago? Yeah, four years ago, once I found out that I was starting to fall in love with my best friend, even though I was in a relationship with this girl named Veronica-.❞
