Hey! It's me again! So I know you've all been waiting for me to update my other projects and I'm telling you all that I'm getting there! Just work and school has been biting at me for awhile so I could barely update things. Anyways, here's a new story I'm working on. I'm only posting this single prologue because I want to see if you guys like it or not. If you do, I'll post more chapters! Thank you for reading and enjoy the Prologue!

____________________________________________________________________________

On the planet of Thra, it was a joyous day. The Gelfling have defeated the Skesis for now, driving them away thanks to Dets strange ability to deflect the Darkening. Aughra watched as they talked and laughed with joy. But this day was overshadowed by the many horrible ways the future had in store for them. She has seen them all but only a few were good outcomes. One would be the near extinction of the Gelfling race except for two, Jen and Kira. Jen would put the shard in the crystal and restore balance to Thra. But there was another and more risky outcome.

After she had awakened from her stargazing, not only did she feel calling out in pain but also something otherworldly had made its way onto the planet. She had visions of this creature once she reconnected with her planet. He was nearly as tall as the Skesis, mildly built, agile, had bare tanned skin with black hair on his head that was short. She saw how this creature crash landed onto the planet in a strange metal beast that was on fire. She even saw how deadly this creature was, sporting weapons that could kill better and faster than any arrow shot. If this creature was willing to help the Gefling and herself, they will no doubt stop the ruling of the Skesis. But this outcome can end in two ways. One would be that the creature will leave the world and all will be at peace, or more of the creature's species will find the planet and start another war that even she can't win. She needed to play her cards right and not act her normal self around this creature, for it could mean the end of the world.

With an audible humph, Aughra set out to the creature's hiding place in the mountains outside of Ha'rar.

'I can't mess up,' Aughra thought to herself as she trudged through the forest. Some of the Gelfling noticed but didn't pay too much attention. They figured she was going to do something important, so they didn't stop her to ask.

During the next few days, Aughra made her way to the mountains. Trudging through thick snow as it fell, she could feel that she was getting closer to where she needed to be. Eventually she was greeted to a large mouth of a cave. Aughra could feel unnatural warmth coming from it. She was here.

"Finally," Aughra said in a grumpy fashion. She hated walking to places very far. With a big nod, she walks inside. The thing Aughra instantly noticed was how the cave walls have been smoothed out, she could not see any natural edges except for the stalactites that hung from the cave's ceiling. It was dry too. Unusual for some caves but she let it pass her mind. Aughra soon saw an amber light casted onto a wall, coming from a cave room around the corner. She could also hear the sound of tiny tinks and shinks, like someone was working on their equipment. Aughra walks around the corner and sees the creature. He was exactly how she saw him in her visions. She also saw they strange metal boxes and wires that were around the makeshift room he made. Aughra takes a single step into the room.

-SHLINK!-

Aughra was stopped in her tracks by the knife he threw in between her feet. Her rage came up a bit but she had to force herself to be calm, she couldn't risk the end of her world. She looked back up and saw the creature was on his feet and aiming one of his longer weapons at her. Aughra saw in his bright green eyes that he didn't want to do any harm.

"Who are you?" the creature asked. Aughra took a long and heavy breath.

"I am Mother Aughra. The mother to all living creatures in Thra. I have come here to seek help from you," Aughra said in a pleading tone.

"Help? Help with what?" he asked, keeping his weapon trained on Aughra.

"With a War. Creatures known as the Skesis are corrupting Thra and slowly killing the planet with it. The Gelfling and Arathim have banded together to fight them but I do not think it is enough. I will greatly appreciate that you help them fight the Skesis and wi-"

"No," the creature said. Holstering his weapon onto his back and going back to cleaning his other weapons.

"What!?" Aughra gasped. This creature was almost as bad as the Skesis. "Why not?" she asked, trying to keep her temper under control.

"I don't do wars. Not anymore," he said, the last part was in a low tone.

"Please you're the only one who can truly help win the war. I've seen it with my own eye!" Aughra said. She takes a couple steps forward. "I know you are a good spirit, I can see it in your eyes you used to help the weak and right wrongs. Please. They need you," she pleaded. There was a long and deathly silence now. The creature stopped his work. He soon let out a heavy sigh and looked Aughra straight in the eye.

"Fine. I'll help but after this war ends, you give me any materials I ask for to repair my ship so I can go home. Understand?" he said very sternly. Aughra let out a heavy sigh of relief and said.

"Yes."
