Maddy's PoV
I wake up in my basement and my mom is bleeding on the floor I hear a brod cast on the TV I look at my mom "mom?what happened?"I ask as her body starts turning greenish and she growls/yells "RUN" she growls again running for me I jump up and lock the basement door on the way out once I get upstairs I see everything boarded up I turn on the TV to see what's going on *special brodcast* - there's a illness spreading world-wide it's deadly if the infected scratches you or bites you you will be infected, if you don't have a weapon get one and always aim for the head -FUCK THIS SHIT IT THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE!! everyone who's still alive go to ---- the TV cuts off fuck! I run upstairs to my bedroom and grab some clothes and put it in my biggest backpack I go downstairs and grab some canned food and a couple water bottles and I grab my pistol and machine gun (don't ask why I have them I just hunt and my dad was in the army so I also have a sniper that I shove in my backpack )I keep my pistol out and put all the ammo I have in my backpack I change into some jeans and a hoodie I put my hair up and in my beanie with a strand of hair out near my face
My zombie games should help my with surviving 😂 I'm kidding I know those are no way near how I just saw my mom turn... I need to keep myself safe at all costs my dad's dog that was in the army with him walks with me at my every step I grab some meet out of the fridge and put it in my backpack along with some candy bars
I look out the window and there's no sign of zombies right now.. so I should stay here where I'm safe I look down at my phone and there's a signal!! I call my best friends in a group chat we made two years ago.

I hear it ring until I hear two voices erupt from my phone
"MY PARENTS DIED AND THERE'S NO SIGN OF ZOMBIES OUTSIDE YET WHAT SHOULD I DO?"Says a feminine voice which is Emma my girl best friend for two years now.
"Pack your essentials and we'll head down to Maddy's house to get her"says a more male voice which is Wyatt my boy best friend for about 3 years
"I'm here ya know"I say knowing he didn't think I was the one who called
"Oh is your parents ok?"he asks
"No my mom is a zombie in the basement and my dad he's still in the army"I roll my eyes as I talk "guys just come to my house"I say as the signal begins to break
