Chapter 20: Kali (awesome chapter if I do say so.)

It was any normal afternoon, after Jonathan had dropped me back into my room, and left for the rest of school, I sat and watched a show. I really wasn't watching it just listening to it while I scrolled on my phone looking for something to read on Wattpad. I just couldn't find anything, so I started writing down some of what had happened to me. I wasn't a very famous writer but I enjoyed writing. It was a break for me something that swept me to another world.

A knock on my door drew my attention away from my phone and I looked at the door.

"Miss Honting, you have some visitors would you like them to come in?" The nurse asks peeping her head in, I recognize her from this morning as the one that helped me.

"Of course." I answer thinking it's Sheridan that will step through the door, but if it was she would have just come right on in. Instead it's a middle age women I don't even know, and a middle age man I don't know as well.

"Oh Rick look at her." The women say's to 'Rick'.

"Hum can I help you?" I ask the couple

"Oh where are my manners, I'm Shelli Rowe, and this is my husband, Rick." She tells me. I nod my head but am still lost I don't make the connection till she say's this. "And you saved our son's life." And then my mind links Kaiden, Shelli and Rick together.

I just met Kaiden's parents.

"Oh dear, I'm so thankful for you, I don't think I'll ever be able to repay you. Where are your parents there must be something we can do, to help with these medical bills?" Mrs. Rowe asks.

"Honey you're scaring the poor girl." Mr. Rowe say's. And I have to agree with him, I am scared I'd never been in this predicament, luckily i've practice this lie millions of times.

"My parents are out of town on a cruise." I lie

"Oh well they must be on their way home?" Mrs. Rowe say's like a question.

"No, I'm afraid they haven't been informed." I lie again.

"Oh well they must have been, right?" She asks again.

"Where they are, they don't have reception. I think that's what the nurse said at least."

"Oh well I'm so sorry do you know when they are done with this cruise?"

"It's a six month tour so I guess they're halfway through." I attempt to shrug my shoulder

"Oh well that is quite lame, Rick where is that boy?" Mrs. Rowe questions.

"I would bet he's stalling." Mr. Rowe answer was quick.

"Kaiden?" I question.

"Oh yes dear we sent him to get something, that is all right, right?" Mrs. Rowe asks.

"Oh hum, yeah." I didn't want to be rude but Kaiden and I were not in the best position now.

"So what's your name, I feel so improper not knowing who saved my son." Mrs. Rowe questions.

"Kali Honting."

"Are you by chance related to Maily and Jack Hurling, you look just like them." I gulp, I want to tell her no I want to lie, but I can't something possess me to say, "Yes." I mutter it and hope she doesn't hear.
