It was 6 o'clock and I had to hurry up and get around to go to school. They decided to let me keep going to my old school.

While everybody is at work I hurried up and got around for school. As I'm brushing my teeth I hear the bus. I try and hurry up but the bus was already gone. I had to run to the school so that I wasn't late but as usual...I was late.

I ran into the school and went to my class but the door was locked. I peeked in and seen my friend Clare. She sees me and smiles while quietly walking over. She comes over and opens the door.

"Hurry up! You're just in time, he's just doing attendance." Clare whispered as she closed the door and went back to her seat.

I walk over to my desk and took a seat. I sit beside Clare and Jessie is just a row away. I have classes from 1st through 5th period with Clare and 1st, 3rd, and 7th with Jessie.

"Catherine Wolf?" Mr. Fisher asked with a little smile.

"I'm here!" I answered giving the teacher a nice, innocent smile before looking away.

"Okay class! Today's lesson is going to be about the human brain." The teacher went on about the lesson.

"Hey Catherine? Did you hear the new gossip lately?" Clare asked with a big smile on her face.

"No. What's it about this time?" I asked with a little laugh.

"There's a new guy in school and I heard he's hot!" Clare looked at me, her eyes glimmering.

"That's what everybody says about every new guy!" I couldn't help but laugh a little.

"Um excuse me? Not all of the guys that are here are hot!" Clare basically yelled that time.

I was about to say something until the teacher interrupted us.

"Do you girls have anything you would like to share with the class?" Mr. Fisher asked walking over to us.

"Um...no sir." I answered back.

"You sure? Because it seemed way more important than what I was teaching so go ahead tell us." Of course I get in trouble.

"I'm sorry." I sat there while all eyes were on me.

"Pay attention next time." He walked back to the front of the class and continued teaching.

School went on and as usual nothing exciting happened. Once and a while stuff happens, but not as much. It was the end of the day and Mark was outside waiting for me.

"Hey how was school?" Mark asked with a smile.

"Oh it was boring today." I said smiling back.

"Oh, well hopefully tomorrow will be better." He said reassuring.

Mark started up the car and drove off away from the school. I sat there looking out the window thinking about how happy I am to be out of that foster home. I didn't like being there but then at the same time I had friends there and people there were like family. I started to frown thinking about how much I'm going to miss that place. I started to smile a little though, thinking about what it's going to be like spending my life here.

We finally got home and we went inside. I looked around the place looking for Tara but didn't see her. Mark walked up beside me.

"Tara won't be here until another hour." Mark looked at me. "I'll be in my office working on a few stuff. Let me know if you need anything."

"Okay, I will." I replied back as mark leaves into his office.

I walk over to the couch and plopped down. I reached over and grabbed the remote and turned it to "Teen Wolf." This has always been my favorite show especially because there were really hot shirtless guys and werewolves. I always thought it was cool how they turned into wolves. At the same time it looked painful for when you first change.

There's other shows I've seen and each time they change differently. It was interesting on how they change. I started to think about what it'd be like to be a wolf. Imagine being able to run fast in the woods. Not caring about the surroundings around you. I started to imagine myself as a wolf white as snow. I was running in the woods leading a pack and it was one of the biggest packs.

I stopped daydreaming once Tara walked in.

"Hey, how's it going?" Tara walked over and sat by me on the couch.

"It's going quite good. How was work?" I asked with a polite tone.

"Oh it wasn't to bad. Got a lot of customers." She replied back.

"Oh that's great!" I answered back.

"I'll be in the kitchen making dinner if you need anything. We're having spaghetti if that's fine." She stopped and looked back at me.

"Oh I don't mind. I like spaghetti." I smiled and got up.

Tara walked into the kitchen to start making dinner. I walked in to grab the plates and silverware to set up the table.
