Chapter 9

Flashback

"So what is your one true wish in life? Serienna questioned.

" To write a book. " Joanne answered pushing up her glasses.

"Of course." Serienna laughed. "What did I say about the glasses." She reached out and took Them off of Joanne's face. "You look better with them off." Joanne blushed slightly from embarrassment.

"So what is yours?" Joanne asked Crystal.

"It kinda cliche but its to fall in love and live happily ever after." Crystal said.

"Serienna what about you?" They both asked simultaneously.

"Well since every one wants to know." She said dramatically flipping her hair. "My dream is to turn to the camera and say 'No more question's." She looked up her friends and they all started laughing hysterically.

PRESENT

  Joanne had went back to Crystal's house because Joanne's parents had went out and didn't want Joanne to be alone. They didn't feel like she was emotionally stable enough yet. Not that Joanne was complaining about that.

"So what are we gonna do?" Joanne asked.

"We're going to go to the police."  Crystal answered.

"Really now? Its pretty late."

"Well he's killed before once he finds out what what we found he'll possibly come here and attempt to kill again." Crystal said putting the pictures into a purse.

"Come on let's go." Joanne said grabbing her keys. They were careful not to wake up Crystals mom because she had a flight in the morning. They headed down the stairs. And opened the front door only to come face to face with the one person they were dreading to see. As soon as she saw Landon's face Crystal panicked and slammed the door.

"Look I just want to explain myself." Landon said talking to the door.

"What do we do?" Crystal mouthes to Joanne. Joanne shrugged.

"Okay fine I'll leave. But just know my brother is pretty pissed about whatever you did to his room." Landon said leaving. The two girls waited until they heared a car start. They watched out the window as Landon drove away.

"Wait his brother's room?" Joanne asked. Crystal began to remember what Landon had told her over the phone the other day.

She always got along with my step brother though.

"His brother. It wasn't him it was his step brother. The one Serienna was talking about in her journal. The one that was watching her and the one that killed her." Crystal said running outside and to the car.

"Where are you going?" Joanne whisper shouted.

"To warn Landon. Come on you have the keys." Joanne ran to the car and got in.

Joanne and Crystal ran up to the front door of Landon's house and knocked. The party looked like it was still going on. Some strange guy came to the door.

"Dudes wassup." It was obvious that he was stoned.

"Where is Landon?"

"He went upstairs about five minutes ago." The two pushed past him and up stairs.

"Wait which one is his room?" The two girls stood lost. Then heared shouting coming from a couple doors down.

"I told you. If we had this party make sure no one went in my room. And its your fault your stupid little bitch of a girlfriend destroyed it." A familiar voice yelled.
