• Two ~ You're What? •

It was a view that we saw everyday we came back from getting groceries or when we took Amelia our for little adventures during the week we had stayed. Lucas had become more closed off but he came over to me every morning and night without fail and kissed my cheek telling me he loves me. He did the exact same with Amelia and she giggled every single time. He was a true gentleman and even kissed Amy's cheek as a thank you every now and then. He got really close to the two boys and it was comforting knowing he could have family his own age. Amy reassured him every evening that he was always welcomed here whenever he wished and Ryan even invited him to spend the summer with him while he and a few friends are going travelling England for a few weeks. I told Lucas that I'd think about it and talk to Ma and see what she thinks.

It was a bittersweet goodbye at the airport. Chris, Becky, Kel, Amy and the boys all came. Amelia didn't know what was going on but she really enjoyed all the hugs and kissed she was getting. I hugged the girls individually and tightly not knowing when I'd see them next. I got to Becky and she held me the tightest. "My baby girl, all grown up. You've raised two incredible kids Lil. I'm so proud of you." I smiled softly and held her a little closer.

"Come visit soon yeah? I think Lucas would really love to see you at one of his games." She chuckled softly and nodded her head. She kissed my forehead gently and rubbed my back softly.

"Don't worry, I'll make an appearance. I think we all will." It wasn't until our gate was announced that I let go of her. The three of us bid them one last goodbye before walking through security. Our gate had just opened when we reached it and Lucas walked in ahead of myself and Amelia to find our seats. I carried Amelia in my arms and she snuggled closer to me and I smiled softly. I got on to the plane and looked around for Lucas to see him sitting in a row of three seats in the business class. I smiled softly and made my way towards him.

There was no point in waking Amelia seeing as it's going to be a long flight so I left the middle seat free in case she does end up waking and she can sit there and watch a movie or something. We weren't in the air long before Lucas moved into the middle seat and leaned his head on my lap before falling asleep. I ran my free hand through his hair subconsciously as I held Amelia against me with my other. A air hostess passed by only to return a minute later with two blankets. I smiled gratefully at her as she put one over Lucas and handed me the other I could wrap it around Amelia.

"They're both very lucky to have a mom like you." I was about to ask her what she meant but she was summoned by another passenger and walked away. I looked down at Amelia snoring softly and then at Lucas and smiled softly. The two both slept the entire nine hour flight back to Manchester and as much as I love spending time with them I'm really grateful the flight is over. My entire body was completely asleep from the two of them sleeping on me.

Lucas woke up right before we landed and had time to wake fully before we hit the ground. I handed him Amelia so I could regain some feeling in my arms and legs before we have to get off. We waited for everyone to leave before getting off. Lucas held Amelia seeing as she was still sound asleep and I got the bags. We walked to arrivals after I got the bags and Lucas led the way. We had just walked through the doors and I chuckled softly when I saw Luce, Keira and Ma waiting for us with wide smiles. We walked over to them and Keira took Amelia into her arms and cradled her. The two of them were inseparable and I think she was lost without her little buddy for the week. Lucy hugged Lucas tightly and smothered his face in kisses as he playfully complained but by the size of the smile on his face I don't think he's really that bothered.

Ma walked to me and held me close to her. I hugged her back and instantly felt safe in her arms. "Lucy and Keira are taking Amelia tonight and Lucas can either stay with them or come with me if he likes instead of going back to the house. The papers are in the top drawer of your dresser." I had told Ma all about what happened and she went insane. She had Lucy watch out everyday for when Rachel got back to the house but she didn't arrive until right before they left for the airport. I knew she wanted to murder Rachel but respected that this was my decision.
