background: growing up in the genesis household was never a nice thing- from a young age, both nora and her brother had been verbally abused by their father whilst their mother coward away and said nothing, scared she would get worse. their father was a powerful business man so their mother never dared leave him. it wasn't until the age of twelve that their father got worse, physically abusing them now if they stepped out of line. nora was made to help her mother around the house and do 'what women were born to do' whilst her brother was out training for the army and her father out doing business. they eventually made the money to hire help around the house so the mother and daughter basically sat around in the shadow of the men. now her family are quite wealthy but things are just as bad, maybe worse.
