Today was just like any other day I woke up and got ready for school, today was going to be the boys basketball tryouts and my best friend Jason was trying out so like the good friend I am I was now waiting in front of his locker.
" hey shorty ! " Jason exclaim as he ran up to me never over seeing the opportunity to make fun of my lack of height
" hey jay, ready to make varsity this year" Jason was a year younger than me so it was going to be the first time he got the chance to try for varsity.
" hell yeah maybe I even steal the place as the captain that dude has been captain for the pass 3 years. Honestly I can't believe they let him be the captain even tho he was an under class men " he rolled his eyes as we made our way to the east wing gym
" wait what how does that work ?" Honestly I had zero idea how basketball was run by the school i am more of a fast pitch person.
" so freshman and sophomores can only be in JV you can't try out of varsity till your junior year and Andrade has been the varsity's captain since his freshman year "

" ay! What was that for, it was just comment" I said while rubbing my forehead, as he opened the door to the gym
" just sit there and watch me get the captain this year" he laughed as he walked to the locker room to change, i made my way to the bleachers when i felt my phone vibrate as I took it out to see who was texting me i ran into a wall.
