N A M O S H T A I I

Welcome back to the world of dil. Only, this time, it's going to be intense.

So... a lot has happened in the one year since the completion of Dil Jaanta Hai. It still baffles my mind that we're now a Wattpad India Award winner, I'm still not past the high that comes with that title. It's mind blogging how exactly a year ago, I was in front of my laptop, typing away the last chapter of DJH. That time, I was so sure that this won't become a trilogy– I did not want to make it a trilogy. The epilogue Dil Dhadakta Hai was where this story was supposed to end.

Funny story, but right when I finished that book, a new character from DDH made sure that that wasn't the case. It was what had happened with Dil Jaanta Hai all over again– I'd listen to these songs (especially Aahatein by Agnee and Dil Beparvah by Prateek Kuhad and Ankur Tiwari) and get these flashes stuck in my mind that just won't go away until I made up my mind to give this story a go. And hence, a year later, here we are.

That being said, Dil Beparwah explores more of Arvika Deewan and Varun Malhotra, and can be read as a stand alone. I have been trying to branch out and try different styles and genre, and that's one of the reasons why you'll notice that the genre of this book is romance. I really hope you like this story and enjoy it as much as I enjoy writing it.

I hope you're all safe and healthy, physically and mentally. Thank you so much for the love and support you've shown to Dil Jaanta Hai and Dil Dhadakta Hai. For me, DJH journey has been and continues to be epic, and it is all because of you. Honestly, I am excited, nervous, happy and anxious, all at the same time. I'm going to try to be as consistent as I used to be with DJH. I'm working on a song for this book as well. Here's to hoping that Dil Beparwah lives up to your expectation.

Till then, stay tuned!
