Marinette's POV

I ran up to class making my best attempt not to be noticed because I was late as usual and fortunately made it taking a seat beside my bestie Alya.

"Let me guess you slept in again" she tantalized trying not to laugh but failing miserably which caught the attention of Miss Bustier our teacher

"ah Marinette I see you've finally shown up," she says while I give her a timid smile,

"well anyway now that everyone is here I have an important announcement I need to make," she said looking at me adjacent the rest of my classmates with a much more radiant spark in her eyes than usual.

Miss Bustier's POV

"well anyway now that everyone is here I have an important announcement I need to make" I'm so hyped right now I cant wait to see the expressions on their faces

"Well our class has been awarded the trophy of the most immeasurable class in the whole of Paris" the students began talking to one another festive vibes filling the air until I abruptly started speaking again "but that's not all as a prize we will all be travelling to........................ Scotland to see MC & NL performing LIVE!!!!!" and with that the class-well almost the whole class-erupted in cheers and ridiculously entertaining victory dances.

Marinette's POV

"but that's not all as a prize we will all be travelling to........................ Scotland to see MC & NL performing LIVE!!!!!" NO NO NO NO NO this cannot be happeni-

"....inette, Marinette, Marinette" my series of thoughts were stopped as I looked to my side to find Alya looking at me with worry

"girl are you feeling alright? you look a bit pale"

"Yeah I'm good thanks" I could tell she didn't believe me, but still decided to shrug it off which I'm eternally grateful for.

Nino's POV

This is a DISASTER this cannot be happeni-

"Nino are you ok?" my thoughts came to a standstill as my best bud Adrien looked at me with worry embedded into his voice

"yeah dude I'm good" even though on the inside my heart had begun to run on horsepower

"Yeah I'm good thanks"

I overheard Marinette say although, I knew she was nowhere near 'good' whatsoever.

Miss Bustier's POV

Everyone seems thrilled except for Marinette and Nino but, I already know why and I just hope they can pull it together before the others start getting suspicious.

"Class settle down please, I have already contacted your parents and they have all agreed to th-"

"REALLY my father is letting me go?" Adrien yelped in confusion. To be fair I was gobsmacked when Adrien's Father gave his consent- although I'm sure Mrs Agreste is behind all this- he is a very strict man and very protective over his son,

"yes everyone has been given permission, now as I was saying we will be staying in Scotland for 3 months so the lesson is being cut short for today so you can all go home to pack, but make certain to bring enough clothes as the temperatures may diversify"

"ok that will be all, oh and before I forget, make sure to be at the airport by 7am sharp."

Time skip ~ Marinette's home

Sabine's POV

"MAMAN, PAPA!!!" I catch Marinette screaming as she burst in through the doors of the boulangerie (bakery).

"Honey is this about the trip to Scotland," I said rather calmly stepping out from behind the counter

"Maman my entire class will hate me when they find out" she exclaimed.

"Of course they won't sweetie," I responded trying my best to soothe her

"but wouldn't you be angry if one of your mates that you've known for a long time turns out to be a famous, ACTRESS and SINGER without even telling you, oh yeah let's not forget I'm also a DANCER!!!" [ btw they're speaking Italian now cus of the customers at the bakery] she spoke, with great sadness inundating her words

"no because a genuine friend will hear you out, understand you, always stick by you and appreciate the exceptional person you have grown up to be" I was waiting for Marinette's response and was a bit startled as she pulled me into one of her sweet tender hugs, but wholeheartedly returned it with all my love and affection

"Thanks, Aunt" awwwwwwwwwwww this girl is just too cute

"no worries sweetie, now go and pack and make certain everything's set for tomorrow"

and with that, she waved goodbye giving Tom who had just come out from the pantry a peck on the cheek before heading upstairs to her bedroom.
