Part Three of Three

Time has been crawling by all morning, both at the cabin and the hotel.

Breakfast at both places took forever, and neither bride nor groom could eat very much. Pepper, after getting ready, put the finishing touches on flowers and some of the food, though most of it will be catered. Happy and Rhodey arrived fairly early, both dressed in their tuxes, though they were outside, rolling out the white runner, putting fairy lights on the altar, and moving the keyboard to the side of the altar for Ned's wife Charlotte to play during the procession. Then, they set up tables and chairs in the backyard for the reception. Pepper and the bridesmaids ran around setting up the centerpieces and tablecloths, putting out the food they had.

Pepper took care of the caterers and the flowers, and the cake was kept inside, protected from heat, little hands, and anyone who would happen to come whisking by to knock it over.

Grace herself didn't see any of this, being up in her old room. Her makeup took an hour and a half, and her hair — curled and pinned back with pale blue flowers woven into it — took two, but it felt like ten altogether. Her bridesmaids got dressed and did their makeup, and Hannah got Ellie ready, though Ellie was not having it.

Morgan was about to burst from excitement; she might've been more impatient and excited than Grace.

Meanwhile, at the hotel, Sam and Bucky were teasing Peter, and Harley was, too, but less so; Sammy had to be dressed in his tux, too.
