Restroom (ZaGr/ZaGf twoshot) pt1

This oneshot is in Gazs pov

     "Can I use the restroom?" I asked mr. Williams, annoyed. It was really an excuse to go play on my brand new GS5. This class was already incredibly boring, and it was only the 3rd day of freshman year.

     "Sure, but the class ends in 5 minutes. Please bring your things." He replied, not looking up from his computer, idiot.

     As I walked down the hallway, the screeching, or more like sobbing, became louder. Oh god, what girl had just A. Broken up with her boyfriend, or B. Received a positive pregnancy test. I still got closer, genuinely curious who it was. When I got to the bathroom, I realized it wasn't coming from the girls.

      I quietly stepped over to the boys bathroom, praying that it was only whatever screechy voiced boy in there. As I walked closer, I recognized him. Zim. He looked, very un-zim like. He was on the floor, his knees bent and his arms crossed, sitting in them, his head resting in the crook of his arm. "Why must they pick on THE zim!" He said, in a breathy sob. I'd never seen him cry, or show much emotion, about his bullies. They hated him. And he didn't care... did he?

     "Hey?" I said awkwardly. Oh shit. I should've just left. I don't care about him. It's just Zim.

     "Gaz-human?" He said, sniffling. "This is the boys restroom, is it not?" He said to me, still not meeting my eyes.

     "Are you ok?" I asked. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Why would I ask that? What was wrong with me?

      "Yes, yes. I am fine" he said wiping his eyes, he definitely was not fine.

      "Ok, Well, let's get back to class then." I said. Our next class was one of many we had together.
 
     "That would be, not very good." He said. He looked so small, and that was saying something, he was 2 inches taller than me. Which didn't take much but it was weird to feel taller than him, and his giant ego. "Can't we just, 'skip'?" He said, looking to me to make sure he used the term correctly.

   What the hell. There was only 2 periods left, what would it hurt. "I guess" I said. Why? Why would I agree to skip with Zim of all people? And why was I happy about it?
