To Hazel the car ride seemed to take forever. The scenery was beautiful with plentyful green all around them. Of course until they arrived in Atlanta. It was awhile since Hazel had seen a real city, living in the small town she had. Her excitement spiked and she said to herself "London here I come." She was excited for new friends, new teachers, and new subjects who loved music just as much as she did. Hazel was often seen as an outsider at school. She always ate lunch at school alone and spent anytime she had away from school and homework practicing violin and singing. It was all that mattered to her. "Now though.." She thought "I won't have a reason to be the shy girl I was. I'm not a freshmen anymore I'm a sophomore! And I'll meet many people who love music just as me. I'm ready for this year."

Her mother drove up to the drop off section of the airport. She had to go to work soon and had almost no time to say a long goodbye. "Bye sweetie have a safe flight and please please please call me when your settled in."

"Of course mom, I'll call you as soon as I find my dorm. Now I got to go to the help desk. Bye!" Hazel replied as she left the car and grabbed her stuff.

"Oh and honey?"

"Yes mom?" Hazel turned to face her

"I love you." Her mother smiled

"I love you too." Hazel smiled back before running off to find the desk.

Her mothers smile faded fast. Though her daughter felt lighter then air. Her heart felt heavy in weight

Her mother knew something she didn't
