A Hero's Example

Damn.... wish it was blue

I then swing the lightsaber around a few times, getting a quick feel for it.

"But still cool..."

I then deactivate it and clip it to my belt

As I get into the control room, I hear that it's dead quiet.

"What's going on?" I question to a officer

"Our distress signals been received at multiple points, but no response." She says quietly

"They've heard us, but no ones coming." Someone says

"Damn it" I say as I clutch my hand in anger

I then turn towards Leia,

"We fought till the end..." she starts before I walk up to her and comfort her. She acknowledges me before continuing

"But... the galaxy has lost all its hope..... The spark is out."

"General... let me-" I start before I stop and see someone walk up to us.

I think it's a threat so I get up quickly and ignite my lightsaber, ready to fight.

Leia then holds my arm, stopping me from advancing

The person gets closer and takes off their hood,

"Luke." I hear Leia whisper

Luke? THE Luke Skywalker??

He then turns to me, and nods.

I deactivate my saber and sit back down with Leia, while we both look at Luke.

He begins to open his mouth before Leia interrupts,

"I know what you're gonna say.... I changed my hair."

I give out a small smile at the joke,

"It's nice that way". Luke begins to say,

"Leia... I'm sorry."

"I know, I know you are... I'm just glad you're here"

"I came to face him, Leia. I can't save him." He explains to her

I hear Leia with a shaky voice,
"I held out hope for so long, but I know my son is gone."

"No ones ever really gone" he says before handing Leia something

I look down and see a pair of gold dice

Luke gets up and kisses Leia on the forehead,

I then start to get up too,

"M-master Skywalker... let me help. Let me face him" I say with determination

He then looks at me straight in the eye,
"Y/N..... Rey's told me all about you. I'm so glad the Resistance has a strong fighter among them. But this is my fight, and one I must face alone."
