I want to finish translating this novel by the end of the year, so I'll try to have more regular updates. For now, since I do both the translating and editing, I'll publish two chapters a week, Tuesday and Friday.

I'm really sorry if you wanted to read more, but translating it's like a full time job. It takes me an entire day to translate and edit, so bear with me for now.

In the end, Qi Yan didn't accept Xu Lan's proposal about the music concert. Although the tickets for the VIP seats for Moonlight orchestra's performance were difficult to get, Qi Yan doesn't have a great interest towards concerts and only has a slight interest towards Xue Zimu, he decided not to disrupt his work plan. Qi Yan refused easily there, but Xue Zimu didn't have such great treatment. On the next day, he barely didn't make a slip under Xue Li and Yao Yue's offensive of sugar-coated bullets. He pretended that he truly and whole-heartedly wanted to marry Qi Yan, and besides, he remembered that he was the Xue Family's child. Yao Yue let him and Xue Lin go to the music concert together. Xue Zimu wasn't clear what happened to the Xue Family after, but he knew that Xue Lin didn't follow Yao Yue's idea to find a wealthy and influential son-in-law. Instead, she married an upstart who had nothing but money. After marriage, they shouldn't have lived smoothly since that upstart took a fancy to a money-squandering den in the entertainment circle, not only flaunting money but also often 'set an example' by contributing to racy scandals. His wife became the object of long-term ridicule and pity by the gossiping masses.

Recalling that Xue Lin didn't live well in the past, Xue Zimu's mood suddenly became a bit more joyful. He abruptly felt that avenging the Xue Family wouldn't be too difficult. The so-called righteous was doomed to destruction, Xue Yu crashed into someone whilst speeding and made him take the blame whilst he was safe and sound. Afterwards, he didn't learn his lesson and became more courageous. And the next time he pushed a bigger basket, the scapegoat wouldn't be so easy to find. Besides, Yao Yue could use such a method to clear up her son, so it could be presumed that Yao Yue and Xue Li did many lawless things before. Xue Zimu doesn't believe that they could always be unpunished by the law.
