These past few days Nazir has dumped numerous contacts on me, I haven't been back home in quite a while.
I should definitely get back and collect my coin.
I wonder how everyone is doing...

Jogging through the Farkreath forests surrounding, I was fairly close to the sanctuary.
Foliage rustled behind me.

*Boof*

A blur of red and black slammed into me, pinning me to the ground.
I looked up at my assailant.

Cicero stared down at me with excitement.

"LISTENER! YOU'RE BACK!" He shouted, tightly wrapping his arms around me.

Laughing a little, I returned the hug, taking in his earthy musk.

"Missed you too." I chuckled, happy to finally be back home.

"Cicero was so worried. I-I didn't know if you would come back..
What if you went off and died, leaving Cicero all alone, so aloooone." He cried, burying his face in my chest.

"I'm right here..." I sighed, breath hitching in my chest.

I held him close.
Trembling, he sobbed.
After a few moments he began hiccuping, which caused him to giggle.

"I'm sorry, Cicero is such a mess." He sniffed, loosening his grip.

Cicero smiled up at me, tears still flowing down his cheeks.
Gently placing my hands on his face, I wiped away the dew.
I kissed him softly.

"I missed you too.." I whispered, staring into his amber eyes.

"Oh Listener.." He chuckled, placing his hands over mine.

"Now... Lets get inside before we're eaten by bears." I whispered, looking around us.

"You'd be quite a tasty little snack." He giggled, standing up.

Rising to my feet, I dusted off.
Grabbing my hand, Cicero pulled me towards the sanctuary skipping all the while.

"Are you going to stay in the sanctuary for a while" Cicero questioned as we walked inside.

"I suppose so, or we could go get that drink I owe you." I suggested closing the door behind us.

"Wait.. Cicero owes you the drink.. For helping mother and I, right?" He retorted, cocking an eyebrow.

"Either way, Drinks! I'm gonna go get paid, meet you back at our room." I chuckled, walking down the hallway.

Skipping down the stairs to the dinning room, I noticed Nazir casually reading at the table.

Strolling over I riffled through my bag pulling out 6 bloody contracts.

"My my, been busy haven't we?" He chuckled, looking them over.

"Yeah Yeah, pay up." I laughed sitting across from him.

Counting out the coin, he packed it into a purse and slip it across the table.

"Thank you kindly.." I picked up the gold and hopped up of my seat.

I wandered through the sanctuary back to mine and Cicero's room.

Soft humming echoed down through the hallway.
I knocked on the side of a wardrobe outside our room.

"Come in.." Cicero called from around the corner.

Skipping into the room, I saw Cicero scribbling in an old journal.

"Hey, you ready to go?" I asked curiously, leaning on the table.

Looking up startled, Cicero quickly slammed the book shut.
