"This is SOOO boring!!" I moan out while laying down.
"It'll be okay Master L/N, we just need you to relax while your prosthetic hand gets accustom to your body." The nurse droid tells me
"I know I know, how long is this gonna take an-"
An officer urgently rushes into my room,
"Commander L/N!! We are starting the evacuation, The First Order are on their way, and Leia wants you on our main ship!" She directs at me
"FINALLY! SOME ACTION!" I yell out before jumping off the operating table and getting dressed and heading off.
I put my metal hand in front of my face to inspect it,
"This is gonna take time to get used to..." I say while moving my fingers,
"Good thing this isn't the hand I-"
I then get bumped by a resistance fighter on their way to also evacuate.
"Gotta hurry" I say to myself before picking up the pace.
Eventually I reach the command ship and see General Leia standing in front of the round projection table.
"Hey General"
She turns around,
"Commander L/N, it's good to see you up and awake. How are you feeling?"
"Ah, other then a little soreness, I'm doing pretty good.. What's the situation?"
"The First Order are on their way and they just brought in a Drednought."
"A Drednought??? Holy sh-"
She then gives me a look,
"Sorry" I say while looking around
"Happy beeps here, buddy, come on." I hear through the table, "we've pulled crazier stunts then this"
Poe?
"Just for the record, Commander Dameron, I'm with the droid on this one." Leia lets out
"Are you seriously taking a whole Drednought by yourself Poe?! Don't know whether that's a good insane or bad one" I say to him
"Thank you for your support, General..... Y/N??? You're awake?!"
"Don't act so surprised, I wasn't dead or anything... just a slight... accident with my hand." I sheepishly say, "but got a COOl metal hand to go wi-"
Leia then smacks me across the back of my head
"OW"
"Focus Y/N"
"You're right sorry. Focus."
We then bring our attention to the projecting table where we see Poe taking out their surface cannons.
Atta boy
We then see the Drednaut open fire at the base
"The last transport is in the air. The evacuation is complete". We hear over the comms
"Yes." I say while patting Leia's shoulder
"You did it, Poe. Now get your squad back here so we can get out of this place."
"No, General we can do this. We have a chance to take out a drednought. These things are fleet killers. We can't let it get away." Poe says
"Which is exactly why we should hurry and leave Poe? We can't afford to lose any more fighters bringing that thing down." I tell him
A while ago I would have never said some shit like that, Haha The Resistance sure changes things
"Disengage now Commander. That is an order." Leia says before we hear him turn off his communicator
"D-did he just..."
Leia looks down, "yes, yes he did"
