Into the future

Chapter one

There in the middle of Konoha stood a young teenager at the age of fifteen. His spiky blond hair that compliments his baby blue eyes and tan skin well, his name is Naruto. In his hands held a letter that requested a meeting with the fifth Hokage 'hm wonder what granny Tsunade wants' he thought while walking through town. Upon arriving at the Hokage tower, Naruto went straight to the Hokage's office not wasting his time, however, once he reached the office there stood an ANBU member with the usual attire and a Cheshire cat-like clay mask. Judging from the length of her hair, her slimness, and the airy light tone of her voice when she asked

"do you have a letter from the Hokage?", Naruto could tell she was a girl.

"Uh. yea"

"May I confirm please?"

".......No......" Naruto replied with a smug look, thinking that he was special since the ANBU wanted a look at the letter. Naruto could tell the female flinched wether by annoyance or shock he didn't know, instead, he just smirked at the reaction he got from her.

"Oi Naruto, I advise you not to waste time and just hand over the letter" came a new but familiar voice from behind Naruto. Naruto turning around came face to face with Shikaku

"Oh, Shikaku-san, did you get a letter from granny Tsunade too?" Naruto asked getting close to the Nara's face much to his discomfort.

"Yup, now stop wasting time and get a move on" the words came out of the Nara's mouth in a lazy drawl and a yawn at the end.

"Yea yea, I got it, old man," Naruto said handing the ANBU the letter.

"Thank you, Naruto and Shikaku-sama will be the last ones to arrive, please follow me," The ANBU said leading them into what looked to be a secret tunnel, considering both men have a hard time recognizing it.

"Wow, must be pretty serious for granny Tsunade to meet up with us down here". The three of them walked in silence for ten minutes seemingly getting deeper and deeper into the darkness, finally. They come to a stop in front of a door the ANBU opens it after pressing her hand against what seemed like a device that read her fingerprints. Naruto and Shikaku step in surprised to see more than one face they recognized. But what surprised them the most was that in the middle there seemed to be a man floating and talking to their fifth Hokage, lady Tsunade, he looked ethereal and godly, but also very aged.

"Ahhhh, come up Naruto" he spoke with a dry and deep voice. Naruto didn't hesitate to step up, he strutted down the room feeling all pairs of eyes on him

"My how you've grown, I hope Kurama is doing good in there" A look of confusion flashed through the teen's face.

"Kurama?" Naruto asked with uncertainty, then the man started laughing, his voice booming and echoing.

"Don't tell me" he stopped to catch his breath before continuing "that, that fox didn't even tell you his name?" he asked amusement still etched on his face.

"Fox?, Name?" Then a lightbulb seemed to echo off in the room when a look of recognition finally showed on Naruto's face then shock showed up after

'What the fox has a name and it's Kurama?'. Wondered Naruto.

"Now enough of that, before I explain why I have gathered you all here there is something I must do if you would please excuse me as it will be very quick," The six paths said floating into what seemed like a blue whirl, and not a minute later out stepped Sasuke and Orochimaru along with the six paths. Many sounds of shock filled gasps were heard throughout the room, then the sound of kunais and shurikens being taken out where heard.
