Hey guys this was my story for one of my classes in high school literature class, I worked on it for a while, and I hope y'all like it 😁.
The Murder Cause By Morgan Bacino
Kassie goes to school she sees Anna and Trey flirting with each other. She walks up to them and ask if she can talk to Anna for a second, Anna says yes and they walk off leaving Trey there like an idiot. When they are far enough away from Trey; Kassie starts to talk to Anna.
"What were you doing talking to Trey, I thought you didn't like him, you've always said that he was annoying." Kassie says with fury in her eyes
"I was just talking to him. There's nothing wrong with that, I do like him but not like how you do, I think I like him more than what you do."
After Anna said this, Kassie started to yell at Anna, and the whole school turned their heads to see what was happening.
"How could you do this to me? You knew that I liked him, then you go and do this. We've been friends since we were in Pre-K."
When Kassie says this she starts to remember the first day that she met Anna, it was the best day of their lives.
The first day of Pre-K, Kassie was terrified to come. She stayed behind Kay while she was signing the papers. When the Principal walked them to her class room her mother was holding her hand all the way there. Once they get in the classroom, the teacher introduces her to the rest of the class. When the teacher tells her to sit down with the rest of the class, the first person that said anything to her was Anna, her voice was so sweet and soft. When it was time to go home, Anna told Kassie that they were going to best friends for life. At the end of the week Kathy and Kay plans to meet up and let the girls play together.
When Kassie comes back to reality she remembers that Anna was flirting with Trey.
"I knew that we were going to fight over this, he's not worth it, he's not worth our friendship."
"Lets both say that we won't fight over a stupid boy ever again."
"Deal?"
"Deal."

After that they plan to go over to Anna's house to do their homework together and Kassie is going to spend the night together. When they finnish their homework they talk for awhile and play some games. They have had a good time. They got to talk about the things that they haven't got to talk about in awhile.
"Hey Anna, do you like Trey?" Kassie asks with a frown on her face.
"Yeah, I think I do, but I'm not for sure. I haven't made up my mind yet."
"Oh, I honestly hoped that you didn't cause that would mess up our friendship and make it awkward, because I still like him."
"Oh." When Anna says this, Kassie gets somewhat mad at her because she is trying to date Trey, when Kassie has had a crush on him all year. She wishes none of this ever happened to her, or her friendship. But soon after Kassie wants to get it off her head, she's not able to because that is all she can think about.
Later that night they were playing games, talking, making snacks to watch their favorite movie together. They had the best time together, but Kassies mom wanted her to come home instead of spending the night there. When Kassie gets home she sees her mother (Kay), setting the table for dinner. There was a red tablecloth with mashed potatoes, green beans, Mac and Cheese, pork chops in gravy, rolls, and so much more. Her eyes widen when she seen this. Then she asks her mother, "What's all this for?
"Its for Anna's birthday, her and Kathy will be coming over soon, but she has no idea yet so don't say anything to her," Kay says with a smile.
"Oh okay, I wont tell her a thing."
"Thank you dear, she'll be so happy when she sees this. Wait, what kind of desert does she like?"
"She likes any kind."
"Okay, I'll pick out my favorite then."
