"I know, but I can't help feeling like I'm messing this all up. I'm usually great with lines and memorizing, but I feel like I'm flopping."

Maddie turned and faced me, she studied me for a second, as if I was a book and she was trying to read me, it felt no one could sometimes.

"Look Jae, I know you, and I know you're a great actor. Sometimes we get nervous, sometimes we mess up and sometimes it feels impossible, but I promise that you've got this, alright? Don't freak, we can't be perfect all the time."

I processed her words, repeating them in my head.

"Thanks Maddie"

She winked and walked away, leaving me with my thoughts once again, but with a new thought that stuck like glue.

We can't be perfect all the time.

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket so I took it out and saw a notification from my all time favourite group chat.

Which contained Me, Finn, Wyatt, Jeremy, Chosen, Sophia, and Jack.

We talked every chance we got.
Gosh I miss them,
I thought.
I miss when we could all hang out and just talk for hours and hours without needing anything besides each other's company. Now, we're almost always busy. I miss the way it used to be, the memories, the jokes, the laughs, I miss it all. I hope soon I can see them all face to face again and we can make more memories.

The filming of It Chapter One was the best summer of my life, I really felt like I met my people then.
