Part 1: Leaving The Shelter.

Hi. I'm Axel Lucas. I am a 13 year old boy in a who lives in a shelter in Los Angeles, California. I've lived here for about my whole entire life and been adopted once, but soon after gave me back because they didn't want a two colored eye freak part of their family. I have been bullied for my two colored eyes, Brown and Green. Some liked me for my brown and black hair. Still I got bullied. There was only one girl who liked me. Abigail Alexander. She would sneak me food from the Lead Shelter Deans office and bring it to me. I didn't know if I liked her. I didn't trust her. I never even ate her food. She was 'The Deans Favorite'.

"Axel!"~

There she is now.

I groan unexcitably as she skips her way over to me.

"I-I brought you cookies.."

I turn my head to look at the cookies that were shaped like little wolves. Even if I love cookies, I still can't trust her.

I take a cookie as she watches me inspect it.

"Com' on! Eat it!"

She usually doesn't wait for me to eat it. This is awkward.

I look over at her to see her doing puppy eyes at me. I blush uncontrollably. I can't like this girl.

"Fine.."

I bit into the cookie and immediatly taste the chocolate. Who made these? They're amazing.

"Did you like it? I made them myself..."~

I look at her scratching the back of her brown and pink hair as I finish the cookie. How is she accidently being so cute?..

"It was... Good..."

Her eyes widen as a tight blush comes on her face.

"R-Really?!"

She smiles, hopping off to sit back down and write in her little diary. 

As she hopped away, I hear the Dean call me.

Moving off of my bed, I make my way over to Mrs. Williams, our dean.

"Yes, ma'am...?"

I say aggrivatedly as she looks down upon me, sending a shiver up my spine.

"Your being adopted. Pack up your things."

I see Abigail behind her, eyes full of tears after Mrs. Williams finishes her sentence.

Shocked, I grab my few pairs of clothes and stuff them into my backpack, and follow the Dean into the main room.

When we get there I see three guys talking and laughing. They all turn their heads towards me.

"This is Axel Lucas."

A polymory family?! I never would have thought...

"Axel, This is Adi, Nick, and Joseph."

The black haired guy, who's name was apparently Joseph, speaks up.

"Just call me Jojo."

"Well you ready to go, Adi and Jojo? We got all the papers signed."

Adi shakes his head.

"Ask him."

Nick looks at me as I adjust my backpack.

"Are you ready to go?"
