What is Youth?

"Youth is a time of realization, recognition and chasing. It's the period in our lives where we come to realize that there's more to life than wishing on stars, and daydreaming about fairytales. We learn that everything isn't as it seems and nothing comes for free. If we want something we have to work for it, and chase our dreams with all we have. It's a time when we begin to work to be the person we imagine ourselves and we chase away the doubt inside us that tells us what we want is impossible. Being youthful means chasing wholeheartedly for the things we want, it's learning that being different isn't a bad thing, it's just different." - 4EVER_L0ST

"I don't really know what youth is because youth is many things. Youth is a time of finding and searching, and then youth is a time of fun and freedom. To me youth is a time when we push away our differences from others and hide our uniqueness so we fit in with others. Youth is a time when you decide what to keep and what to lose. Do we keep the popular friends that like us because of how we look or unpopular friends that like us for who we are? Youth is meant to make mistakes and be free without a care in the world. In youth we are meant to stand on top of the world and show them our differences and if they don't like it we take a stand anyways. So, to answer what youth is to me, my answer is freedom."- 4EVER_C00L

"Youth is the time in our life where we begin to see that not everything is as magical as it once was. It's when you grow out of the habit of staring at the ceiling in bed, wondering about all the stories you were told, and thinking,"Wow, I want to do that." I'm not saying that youth strips away the fun in life because it can bring so many wonders. Youth is a time where young souls search in all sorts of crazy things as well as people to help them figure out a tiny part of what makes life. It's a period where we question our interest, where we grow a voice of our own, and a time where we learn lessons that all learn at one point. It can be scary sometimes too because it's when we look back, this part in us not ready to let go of our childhood.
