A sacrifice to appease
The poetic, dark dreamer in me.
Robin-
Most gallant of sparrows,
Most knightly of thieves.
A name of both roguish wit and the freedom of wood and sky.
My middle name-
A call to the innocent and carefree side of me
To finally return
After a long winter.
Marigold-
A flower,
Defenseless but not fragile,
Bright but not broken.
A name of both toughness and beauty.
My last name-
A declaration of who I am
And the woman I hope to become.
