For too long now
have I been trying a proper wish to find,
something that'll equal sheer delight
and sweet nostalgia will be reminiscent
of times and laughs sealed in time,
of the million persons you embodied
to become today the oldest memory of who you've ever been,
the youngest of what you've yet to see...
But what is apt and what is right?
Happy Birthday, Many Happy Returns...
I guess I could just smile,
words fall short
and after all, there's melody in silence
dulcet, morose.... like the emptiness in the cosmos
had you not have ever been borne!
