The Trip (DBH Connor x Android reader)

The Begining

(Y/n's p.o.v)

It's been a few weeks since you left the Cyberlife headquarters and entered the DPD, and you are already loving it. You have made new friends, gained new experiences, and already have a growing hatred for Gavin Reed.

You've also already solved a few cases with your partner/ best friend Sylvia (another newer android like you) who is a very intelligent and kind person. She was a good friend of yours back at Cyberlife headquarters, and had been with you ever since activation.
"Y/n!" You hear her call from the lounge/ break area.
"What's up Silve?" you shout back, getting a few annoyed looks from around the office because of your volume. You begin walking over to where she is as she continues shouting.
"Have you heard about the company trip? I heard only a few people are getting drafted to go."
Of course you've heard about this trip, it's all anyone at the DPD has talked about for the past week. You've been excited to see who was going, and even where they were going. Everything about this trip is super secretive, only Captain Fowler knows anything about it.
"Who hasn't?" You reply.
"I wonder if Connor is going," she states slyly, elbowing you lightly in the arm and winking.  You feel therium rush to your cheeks. She knows all about your secret crush on Connor. You've liked him ever since you two started talking, which has basically been since the moment you set foot in the Dpd. He's an exceptionally kind, smart, and handsome man. I mean,  who wouldn't fall for those puppy-dog eyes?
Before you can snap back with a snarky comment, you hear Fowler's booming voice.
"Attention everyone! I have the names of the people going on the company trip!"
The whole office erupted with murmurs and talking. Sylvia looks at you with a glimmer of excitement in her eyes. This was the moment you had all been waiting for.
"Hey, hey! Settle down, you don't want me to call off all the payments do you?" Fowler shouted. The room went quiet almost instantly. Fowler smiled.
"Alright, so I have you all grouped in pairs for rooming. The groups were all chosen randomly, so don't hate me if you are put with Gavin. The room bussles with giggles at this joke but Gavin doesn't seem all too happy.
"Hey! I'm not that bad you-" he stops himself, realising he probably shouldn't call his boss the word he was about to shout.
Fowler looks at him with a teasing gaze. "Oh come on Gavin, it was just a joke. Lighten up a little."
Gavin still looks angry, but doesn't say anything.
"Well now that we have the warnings out of the way, it's time to say where you're going."
Another burst of quiet chatter throughout the office occurs, but instantly stops the moment Fowler begins to glare.
"Alright, were going to............
The Bridfet Forest!"
There was a sudden silence throughout the entire office. The humans were very confused and frantically looking at everyone else to see if they knew what was happening. Along with this the androids were rapidly searching their databases for any knowledge of the place.
After about five seconds of this Fowler's smile dropped.
"Alright, alright. So we don't have very many funds this year, but it's really a nice place. It's really...um..... quaint." There was a long pause before the word quaint, as if he was trying to think about something good to say about it.
"Alright, now let's talk who's going!"
This statement got many cheers from the office.
"I'll be listing them off in pairs so this doesn't take too long."
He held up his list of people and cleared his throat.
"Alright, so to begin we have-"
The pairs went like this:
1. (Insert insignificant side charecters here)
2. (More side charecters)
3. Sylvia and Jude (a human, non binary, detective who was incharge of abuse cases)
4. Reed and RK900 (aka Richard)
"Alright," Fowler boomed. " the final pair will be, drumroll please!"
This got plenty of people slapping their legs as if they were drums, "y/n and Connor!"
