There are many characters in this story that you should know before reading this book.
The main character is Miranda. Miranda is 17 years old. She was born female but is working on transitioning to Non-binary. It will have her family's responses to Axel's transitioning. Axel has a very close connection with both of their dads. They have always been doing family activities and outings together since Axel was little. They are currently in Grade 12, preparing to graduate out of high school.
Joey is a busy parent who works at the local radio station in town, 16.16 pop music. He is married to a wonderful partner named Issac. They got married on October 25, 2014. He enjoys spending time with his loved ones and creating lasting memories for years to come.
Issac is a work-from-home parent. He works for a phone company as a customer service representative. They love to watch sports such as baseball and hockey. The family of three enjoys going on many outings.
The 4th Character that you will meet is Blake. He is Axel's best friend at the beginning. He eventually learns that his identity has changed, and so has his love interest along the way.
