2015.

Cassidy:

It was summer, 2015. Summer break was almost over and it was soon time to begin prepping for the new school year. We weren't just ending any normal summer break this year, oh no, mom finally agreed to let me visit my dad and step mom in Pennsylvania. Which was a big deal for me at the time seeing as I hadn't seen him in person in almost 8 years...

My step mom wasn't your usual stereotypical step mom by the way, she was a kind, warm hearted person that always looks after my dad and brought me my step sister and brother, whom I love. As I arrived in Pennsylvania I drove out to the small town of Susquehanna that I used to call home, with nothing but memories filling my mind.

My mom and I left when I was 9, and home hasn't been the same since. My older sister, Ella who was 13 at the time, got sick and passed away and everything got a little too much for my parents. After they split up, me and my mom moved to Seattle and my dad stayed in Pennsylvania. He remarried 2 years later with a lady named Lena, my step mom, and they had two kids (my step siblings) , Jake and Izzy who are 5 (almost 6) year old twins. I'm not complaining mind you, I love them to bits, it was just hard. The change.

I'm Cassidy by the way, I'm 17 years old and I like sleep. I have a dog named Charlie and I live in Seattle, Washington. I don't get out much but my best friends are the opposite, so they bring out the fun in me.

Now you know pretty much all there is to know about me, let me tell you about the craziest next 5 years of my life.
