Jealousy

    It was a cloudy windy day and El and Mike were on their way to the park to meet the party. Mike was riding his bike while El rested her arms around mikes skinny waist digging her face into his warm back.  Mike blushed as she grabbed on tightly onto him . He slightly turned his face but not too much or else he'll crash. Wind blew in els face making her look like an angel. under her hair laid  a soft smile on els face. Mike was blown away from els beauty . He couldn't believe how lucky he was to have her. She was beautiful,shy,understanding,sweet and well of course, hot . Mike couldn't deny that last part. He kept his eyes on the road loving els embrace . El moved her head sideways to see if the park was nearby. Mike already knew what she was thinking. El wasn't much of a talker so mike learned to read her mind quickly . And he was good at it. "We're almost there el " mike said softly  to El without her even asking. El smiled and hummed sweetly as she laid her head back down on mikes back squeezing him tighter.
   Mike could have El grab on to him like this forever, however they soon arrived at the park and el had no choice but to let go of mike . Mike missed the feeling of her already. He sat his bike down as the party waved at them. "Come on el they're over there"mike gestures to them with his arm. He grabbed els hand and walked over to them . They sat on a blanket below a tree waiting for el and mike to hurry up.
    "Damn what took you guys so long" max asked a bit annoyed . "What are you talking about we made it  just in time?" Mike responded a bit annoyed from max's words. "They were sucking face obviously max , how dumb can you be?" Dustin replied rolling his eyes followed by a smirk. The party chuckles a bit,El and Mikes face turn bright red . El looked down embarrassed while mike just scoffs . "Shut up" Mike was able to spit out still embarrassed from what Dustin had said.  Dustin wasn't wrong at all actually, Mike and El were making out a bit, but before they knew it they were running late to meet up with their friends.
     They sat down with their friends talking,laughing , arguing ,running around, doing teenager stuff. El , Mike, Max and will laid on the blanket chatting while dustin and Lucas were wrestling. Mike had his arms around el as she laid on his shoulder. The weather was getting colder and mike noticed el shivering a bit. Mike took of his sweater and placed it around el.  "Here this will make you warmer"mike says rubbing her arm. El looks at her lover and smiles gently . She gives him a kiss on the cheek and rests her head on mikes chest,Mike turns bright red from this .
     Max and will both look at eachother. "Ew gross" max jokingly spits out while you hearing a chuckle from will. "Shut up you know you and Lucas do the same" mike says back to her . They all laugh while watching Lucas and Dustin fight .
    The wind blows making max shiver a bit. "Shit I left my sweater at home" max says shivering through her words . " hey Lucas do you have a sweater" max shouts at Lucas. "Nope sorry" Lucas responds still wrestling with dustin. Max rolls her eyes. "Hold on I think I have a small blanket in my backpack" . Mike gets up and reaches in his backpack. El stares at him a bit confused. mike pulls out a small blue blanket and hands it to max. "Thanks" max smiles at mike relieved. "No problem" mike returns the smile back and Lays back down next to el . El looks at mike,max, than mike again. A weird unpleasant feeling goes throughout her body . She didn't like it. Mike notices her upset face " you ok el?"mike asks her worriedly . El nods gently "yes" El still didn't make eye contact with mike . This didn't convince mike but he stayed quiet .
    A couple minutes pass by and a song plays out in the distance. The kids look to where the sound was coming from revealing an ice cream truck. "Oh hell yeah ice cream!" Dustin shouts out. "Oh sweet, you want some el?" Mike turns to el . "Sure thanks" el says smiling at mike. Max and mike head to the truck to get the ice cream for their friends. El watches Mike and a max walk together to the big vehicle . The same feeling from earlier came again. El sighed as a bit of anger flowed in. She continues to stare at them until mike shouts at her to come over there. El snaps out and quickly goes to him. "Here you go" mike hands her ice cream to her . "Thank you" el quickly stands up on her tippy toes giving mike a peck on the cheek. They both smile and head back. "Hey mike you have an extra quarter ?" Max shouts at mike as she digs in her pocket . For some reason hearing max talking to mike made her feel the same exact feeling from a minute ago "Yeah hold on" mike checks in his pockets. Mike hands the quarter he found to max . Their hands slightly touch from mike placing the change onto max's hand. El stares once again . "Thanks mike" max thanks mike while patting him on the shoulder and handing the rest of the change to the guy. Els anger grew stronger. She opened her mouth to say something but right when she was about to she was cut off by mike turning to her and grabbing her hand. "Let's go el"
   Mike and el sit down back on the blanket. Mike eats his ice cream but soon realizes el wasn't doing the same . Instead she was just staring at her cone . Mike stopped and questioned her. " is something wrong el?" Mike was sure something was wrong, El just shakes her head. She was so confused this feeling was new to el but she was sure it had to do with max. El turns to mike which is talking to max. Max laughs at whatever mike says and goes back to eating her ice cream. Yep for sure it was her. El felt bad for feeling this way but whenever max and mike are around she can't help but feel a bit angry and sad. El loves mike more than anything and to see him smile with another girl that wasn't el, frustrated her.
   "What happened ?" El asked mike wondering what he said to max . "Oh I was saying how much dustin is getting his ass kick by Lucas" mike gestures to them followed by another laugh by Max. "Oh" el replied looking at the ground. Mike frowned he knew something was wrong with el but he couldn't think of anything that would upset her. Mike gently pulls el into a hug and kisses her head . El returns back with a hug and smile on her face. That's the face that made mike heart explode , he loved seeing her happy . She was his girl .
It was getting late so it was time for the party to go home. Mike went over to all of them to give them this handshake hug thing the party came up with. El was too shy to do any of that so she just stood there watching them. She patiently waited for mike by his bike and watched them do their thing. But when it came to max and mike doing the handshake, els jealousy grew. She watched them slap each other's hands while fist bumping than giving a quick hug. Mike went over to El soon after . But els attention wasn't focused on mike, her eyes landed on the redhead walking over to Lucas. "El" Mike called her name to get her attention but instead she walked over to max.
El tapped on max shoulder . Max turned around confused since el and her barely even talked. El struggled to find her words . "Is there something wrong el?" Max lifts up her eyebrow still confuse. "Do you like mike?" El asked the shocked girl . "What?" Max was stunned . Her liking mike? Where did this come from. Max was just a friend to mike well basically frenemy. Besides max was already dating Lucas she could never imagine her dating mike.
El stood there waiting for an answer. Mike walks over to them wondering what the hell could they be talking about . "Oh thank god, mike can you explain to your girlfriend that I am not your girlfriend!?" El gives max a face while mike just stands there in shock. Max his gir- wait it hit him . Mike knew something was wrong with el yet he couldn't put a finger on it . Whenever el looks sad it was always after max and him made some sort of contact. Mikes face turned pink. A smile emerged in his face . He was flattered and found it adorable el was , jealous. He let out a small chuckle . "Why are you laughing ?" El was so confused .
" awe el, are you jealous?" That word was new to el. "Jealous?" She responded confused as ever. Max laughed as well. "Oh my god el, I would never date or even like mike, hes yours not mine" El stayed quiet. " let me guess you saw us doing the first bump and talking which got you upset?" Mike knew exactly what was wrong. El just looked at the ground embarrassed but sort of relief that they don't like eachother. Mike and max both look at each-other. "El I would never like someone other than you or cheat" mike lifts els face with his finger making eye contact. "You know I love you" mikes words followed by a kiss.
Max felt awkward just standing there. "Well ok love birds imma head out since everything's good now, see ya later" El and Mike pulled apart forgetting that max was still there. Max walked over to Lucas and jumped on the back of his bike.
Soon enough dustin Lucas, max were all gone . " I'm sorry mike" el burries her face in guilt into his chest. " awe el, baby there's no need" he kisses her head and leads her to his bike. " you look cute when your jealous" el rolled her eyes than laughes." come on let's go home, I'll make you some eggos" els face lit up and smiled. "Alright" el responded calmly placing her arms around mikes waist . The two love birds went home eating eggos . Probably eating something else too but oh well .
