The Secret Princess - A Bade Story

Chapter 1: The future :

Monday. October 16th, 2023

Rushing around my apartment at 9:00 a.m. I panicked trying to find everything I need. Today was going to be the best day ever and I needed it to be perfect. I heard a knock at my door and sighed running down to answer it. It was Cat. She had asked to come over to help and I had no choice but to say yes, because let's face it, it was Cat and she wouldn't leave you alone unless you did what she asked. We hugged and both ran upstairs to my bedroom. I had her do my makeup and hair since she took that class in school. She was also doing it to submit for an assignment. We laughed and talked the entire time. I hate to say it, but sometimes I actually like hanging out with Cat, she was good company to keep your mind off things.

Around 10:00 a.m. Cat had my hair and makeup done. It looked wonderful, better then anything I could've done. I thanked her and she helped me get dressed. My dress wasn't traditional at all. I haven't liked white for the longest time, so I got a black lace dress, with some white lacy flowers at the bottom and for the ribbon in the middle. I loved this dress. I did tell Beck that I didn't want a white dress and he knew I didn't. He told me to go ahead and get a black one because he knew I wouldn't be happy in a color I didn't like. Even tho I told him the color, he doesn't know what it looks like. I told him he would have to wait to see what it was because I didn't want it to be bad luck. I got dressed and looked at myself in my full size mirror and sighed, smiling. I couldn't wait any longer.

Cat and I got in the limo laughing and went to the church. It was around 11:30 when we got there and I almost ran into the church before it was time. Cat got out before me and I saw Beck come out of the church and over to the limo, opening the door holding his hand out. I smiled up at him and stepped out of the car. Beck smiled at me and kissed me.

"You look beautiful." Beck told me smiling. I smiled back at him brightly.

"Thank you. You look very handsome." I whispered. Even though I was excited, I was super nervous and still in shock that this was happening. Nothing could go wrong.

Andre and his band were playing at the ceremony, while he was also Beck's best man and we asked Sikowitz to be our minister. Cat was my maid of honor and Beck's dad offered to walk me down the isle since my parents weren't really in the picture. Beck walked down the isle to get to the alter first and his dad and I stood and waited on the other side of the doors. While Cat and a couple other friends were walking down before I went out, Mr Oliver turned to me.

"Jade..." He paused and I turned to him. "At first, I truly wasn't sure about you dating my son-" Oh no, please don't say that you don't want me to marry him. "But over these last few years, I have started to realize that you were the best thing to happen to him. I am really happy that you are the one I will get to call my daughter." I smiled at him brightly and gave him a hug.

"Thank you." I said to him. "For trusting me with your son." We both chuckled a little and I heard Andre's band start playing the music for me to come out. I hooked my arm around Mr Oliver's and the doors opened as we walked out.

I smiled at Beck the entire way down the isle with little tears forming in my eyes, but I didn't cry. When we reached Beck, Mr Oliver kissed my cheek smiling and I handed Cat my flowers, taking Beck's hands.

"Please be seated. Beck and Jade have asked me to be their minister for their special day. I have known Beck for a long time, ever since he was a young man, and even though I haven't known Jade for that long, I feel like we have known each other for a life time, and I think of both of them as my own kids. I couldn't have thought of a better time then today to have this beautiful wedding. The first time Jade walked into my class, I saw the way Beck looked at her, and I knew... I knew that she was the one for him. Both of them make each other better and grounded, both in their own ways. Now, most of you who know me, know that I don't like doing things in order and I think that both Beck and Jade knew that, when they asked me to do this, that I wasn't going to do things normally. For you all that know Beck and Jade, you know that are both going to say yes, so we are going to get that out of the way firs then move onto the vows." Beck and I shook our heads but laughed at Sikowitz and how he wanted to do things. I was staring into Beck's eyes, almost in tears, and he was smiling back at me. "Do you, Beck Oliver, take Jade to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do." Beck said and I smiled brightly up at him.

"Do you, Jade West, take Beck to be your lawfully wed-"

"STOP!!" Someone yelled and both Beck and I turned our heads in shock. Who in the world would be stopping our wedding?!

"Mom?!" I said in shock.

"What is going on?" Beck said turning to me.

"Nothing I-"

"Addison, you will come home right this instant." Beck was looking at me confused.

"Babe.. what is going on? Why is she calling you Addison?" I looked around frantically as I saw my mom start to say something, I didn't need her telling Beck the secret I have been keeping from him for three years now.

"Stop! Alright, the reason she is calling me Addison is because..."
