One More Chance

PROLOG

(Try to read this with the song that I prepared and try to read it slowly~)

"What should I do to make Your Majesty to love me?"

Athanasia stared at her father whom now sat at his throne, unlike her who already full of tears, her father Emperor Claude de Alger Obleia just look at her with cold and calculating eyes.

Not even a bit of warm or love that reflecting in his eyes.

"Do I have to be like Jenneite? Will you love me if I am? I just want you to love me like you love her, I just want you to call my name with warmth and look at me with a loving look," said Athanasia with her hoarse voice.

'Why?! Why can you love me?! I'm your daughter too! Look at me! Please, just look at me with your loving eyes for once...' Thought Athanasia that make her cry more and more.

Claude just stay silent at her words.

"If I leave and never appearing again in front of you, will you at least pat my head lovingly just for once, even though is just an acting?" continue Athanasia desperately.

"You would never have a chance, even if I die," said Claude coldly.

'Please...'

"H-how is that possible, father?" ask Athanasia while trying to hold tightly her last ray of hope.

Claude doesn't even bother to answer her question, in fact he doesn't even care that he broke his 'oldest daughter' heart into pieces that never can be mending again.

Athanasia gather her last courage to speak and finally said, "I-I am also your daughter, I've been here longer with you than Jenneite..."

'Please, just for this once tell me I am you daughter too...'

But her last hope broken into pieces when Claude finally opened his mouth to answer her.

"Stupid," said Claude.

'STOP! PLEASE STOP!'

Then he kicked Athanasia's hand that had been clung on his pants this whole time and make her tiny body fall to the ground.

'I beg you father, please stop! I can't bear it anymore!'

The next word that Claude said from his mouth make Athanasia numb, as if her life has been taken over.

"I never considered you as my daughter, not even once and never I see you in that way," said Claude and just look at Athanasia who still stay still on the ground.

Athanasia eyes that usually shining like a lovely clear as a blue gem gradually become dull, as if she slowly her live leaving her body.

She become numb, she can't even fell her heart again it's already broken beyond repair as if burn into ash.

"You don't deserve to be my daughter," said Claude and he stab Athanasia heart with his sword.

Blood flowing from her mouth, slowly her live really leaving her at one last chance she raised her head to look at her father whom she love with all her heart last time.

"I hope I never love you, father," said Athanasia with a sad smile and blackness finally come to her.

Long black haired man with ruby eyes just look at the girl or to be exact a corpse that previously have a blue eyes like a gem.

"Too late again, huh...." Said him.

"And this time you were killed by your own father," continue him while cradling the cold body of Athanasia.

"Why! Why did you this to me?! Is a thousand years not enough for you?!" shout him to no-one and hugging tightly Athanasia body to him.

He cried and cried, as if someone who lost his loved one.

"It's better you kill me rather than I must going through this one more time! What the purpose you make me to love her and make her for me if never even once I meet her alive!" said him.

It's already the fifth time that he woke up from his long sleep and found her lying coldly like this. He doesn't even know anymore why fate make him like this.

As is the fate heard him plea, Athanasia body began to glow with a golden strand and not for a long time the black haired man started to lost his consciousness.

'This time, you'll be able to love her with all of your heart and time, your punishment is finally ended now it's time for you to be happy,' said a voice from nowhere.

And finally darkness enveloped him.
