Friday at Glee club practice:

"OK, we have three people who haven't gone yet." Will stated. "Who wants to start things off today?" "I will Mr. Schue." Marley said. "I'd like to dedicate this song to my fiancee Kitty." Kitty smiled happily back at Marley. Marley smiled, then stood up and began to sing:

You make me feel so young
You make me feel so spring has sprung
And every time I see you grin
I'm such a happy individual

The moment that you speak
I wanna go play hide-and-seek
I wanna go and bounce the moon
Just like a toy balloon

You and I are just like a couple of tots
Running across the meadow
Picking up lots of forget-me-nots

You make me feel so young
You make me feel there are songs to be sung
Bells to be rung
And a wonderful fling to be flung

And even when I'm old and gray
I'm gonna feel the way I do today
'Cause you make me feel so young

You make me feel so young
You make me feel so spring has sprung
And every time I see you grin
I'm such a happy individual

The moment that you speak
I wanna go play hide-and-seek
I wanna go and bounce the moon
Just like a toy balloon

You and I are just like a couple of tots
Running across the meadow
Picking up lots of forget-me-nots

You make me feel so young
You make me feel there are songs to be sung
Bells to be rung
Wonderful fling to be flung

And even when I'm old and gray
I'm gonna feel the way I do today
'Cause you, you make me feel so young
You make me feel so young
You make me feel so young
Ooh, you make me feel so young

"Yeah!" The Glee club applauded and cheered Marley's performance. "Nice job Marley." Will said. Marley smiled happily. "May I sing something Mr. Schue?" Kitty asked. "Go ahead." Will instructed. Kitty stood up and began to sing:

You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you
You'd be like heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much
At long last love has arrived
And I thank God I'm alive
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you

Pardon the way that I stare
There's nothing else to compare
The sight of you leaves me weak
There are no words left to speak
But if you feel like I feel
Please let me know that is real
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you

I love you baby
And if it's quite all right
I need you baby
To warm the lonely night
I love you baby
Trust in me when I say

Oh pretty baby
Don't bring me down I pray
Oh pretty baby
Now that I've found you stay
And let me love you, baby
Let me love you

You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you
You'd be like heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much
At long last love has arrived
And I thank God I'm alive
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you

I love you baby
And if it's quite all right
I need you baby
To warm the lonely night
I love you baby
Trust in me when I say

Oh pretty baby
Don't bring me down I pray
Oh pretty baby
Now that I've found you stay
Oh pretty baby
Trust in me when I say

I need you baby
And when you come my way
Oh pretty baby
Now that I've found you stay
And let me love you, baby
Let me love you

The Glee club cheered and applauded Kitty's performance. "Nice job Kitty". Will said. "Excellent." Scott chimed in. Marley went over to embrace her fiancee. "That was beautiful." She said smiling warmly at her. "I love you." Kitty said. "I love you too." Marley replied. "OK, it's all down to you once again Scott." Will instructed. "I had a small request Mr. Schue: I was wondering if I could sing my song in the auditorium. No offense, but I'm just not feeling it singing it in this classroom right now." Scott explained.  "That's understandable." Will said. "OK, everyone, let's head down to the auditorium." Will instructed. One by one, the Glee club filed out the choir room door, and into the auditorium. Scott took a shortcut and was already on stage by the time they got there. "Now this is more like it." Scott said smiling. "OK, Scott, it's all on you." Will said. "Alright. This song is one of Frank Sinatra's all time greats. It's also my personal favorite. I think it sums up what he's all about in a nutshell." Scott explained. He then began to sing:

And now, the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and every highway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way

Regrets, I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course, each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way!

I've loved, I've laughed and cried
I've had my fill, my share of losing
And now, as tears subside, I find it all so amusing
To think I did all that
And may I say, not in a shy way
Oh, no, oh, no, not me, I did it my way

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels and not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the blows and did it my way!!

Yes, it was my way

The Glee club gave Scott a thunderous standing ovation. "That was a performance even Frank would be proud of." Roderick said. "Wow." Spencer said. "That was amazing." Bree said. "Simply perfect." Jane said. "Well done." Ryder quipped. "Brilliant." Kitty said. "Great job Scott, that was magnificent." Marley said. "Thanks." Scott replied. "I think you guys are ready for Nationals." Will said excitedly. "That Mr. Schue, would be a major understatement; New York, here we come!!!" Scott shouted. "YEAH!" The Glee club applauded and cheered that statement and got together for a group hug.

And that does it for this episode. In the next one, Nationals has arrived at last!!!!

By the way, the Frank Sinatra songs sung by the respective Glee club members in this chapter are:

1. Marley- "You Make Me Feel So Young (1956).

2. Kitty- "Can't Take My Eyes Off You (I Love You Baby)" (1964).

3. Scott- "My Way" (1969).
