Izaya has just finished one of his many jobs and sat down at his desk with a sigh. His last job almost got him killed so he hesitated after scrolling through a couple of offers on his laptop. He decided to take a break and stare out the window at Ikebukuro and saw a familiar face. Shizuo Heiwajima. He put his head on his hand and watched as the blonde walked away with a cigarette in his mouth towards the bar he worked in.
Izaya couldn't help but smile. He knew they'd eventually fight again and again and it was the highlight of his day. He loved making that monster pop a blood vessel or two just at the sight of him. He lived for it honestly.
After the blonde was out of sight Izaya quickly relized he had to work again. So he clacked away at his laptop.

Arriving at the bar Shizuo was quick to put out his cigarette and stomp on it. He opened the door and stepped inside and a ringing sound followed.
He had a massive headache from all the bustle and noise in the city he failed to notice a customer was in front of him.
"Hello.. Say what do you think is the best thing to get here I'm kind of new." chuckles the man. Shizuo sighed and told the man that they had good cocktails. So that's what he ordered.

The long shift was painful and he was glad to be home. His head had been pounding all day so he went outside for a smoke.
They're we're all sorts of crazy people in ikebukuro and he didn't find the strange man walking by him a threat. But the man stopped and stared at shizuo. Shizuo, with the cigarette still in his mouth muttered "what? You got a problem?" The man simply walked away and looked like he was texting someone.

Izaya felt trapped in his little office and trotted downstairs to look for trouble. Outside in the dark he quickly began humming to himself and walking around the dark alleys. He didn't see anything worth messing with and decided to give shizuo a little visit.

From out of nowhere a group of men came out of the dark alleys and started firing at shizuo. Shizuo has had attacks like these before and didn't pay any attention to them. He dodged as smoothly as he could but a bullet grazed his face. He was bleeding but wasn't fazed by it. "You're gonna pay for that you bitch!" Shizuo thundered and ran to the shooter without even thinking. All guns were focused on him. As he grabbed the mans throat he felt a pain in his back and leg. He was shot and he could barely feel the pain.

With much surprise Izaya stopped and smiled at the sight of a battle without him in it involving Shizuo. He noticed shizuo was breathing heavily and couldn't really fight back against people with guns so he observed from his alley. What did these guys want from such a guy anyway? He's never seen shizuo at such a weak point.

Shizuo just wanted to go home and sleep but these idiots wanted something from him and he didn't know what. He fought all of the men off but suffered heavy wounds. He couldn't reach his room in time to call Shinra either. He collapsed on the stairs of his apartment complex out of pain and tiredness.

Izaya, knowing the coast was clear headed over to where shizuo disappeared off to. He hummed silently as he reached shizuos body in surprise. He never expected this from Shizu-chan. Grinning, Izaya called for others to collect his body and while doing so knew how much fun he would have with the monster. He let out a laugh and stared down at shizuo in victory.

Shizuo woke up expecting to be on the steps of his apartment but found himself in a room cuffed to a wall and blind folded. To his surprise he was bolted to the wall. He did the best he could and tried to bend the metal but he was shot in the arm.He tried to stand but couldn't due to his leg. Shizuo cursed to himself, just wanting to be home.There was the sound of a door opening with a loud creak and he headed footsteps walking towards him. He growled in defense and waited for a voice.

Izaya looked down. "Well I'm surprised really. I never would have expected the strongest man in Ikebukuro to become so weak and pitiful. He smiled knowing that would get to Shizuo.
He heard the metal start to bend and put his hands in his coat pockets. Removing the blindfold he was met with eyes full of fury and rage. "You bastard. I'll kill you!". Unfazed, Izaya bent down in front of the man. "In that state?" I bet you couldn't even stand.
Shizuo stared up at Izaya and knew he was badly injured." Ok so what are you gonna kill me or something? What the hell do you want, flea?" He spat
Izaya pulled one of his knives out and held it up to Shizayas neck. "Hmmm I dunno.. seeing you in pain is pretty fun.." he started "but I know I could have a better use for you~"
Shizuo tried again at the metal holding his arms to the wall and struggled. He let out a grunt as he slumped down in pain. Izaya was pleased by this and decided to make his exit. He needed to think on this more.
