Holly's POV Chapter 3

Start from the beginning

But anyways, I could honestly live in Sydney's basement! It's basically a loft with a bar attached to it! There's so many games such as pool, darts, ping pong (which we usually turn into beer pong), and a Foosball table. Also there's a huge plasma television, two long sectionals and it's super spacious with enough room for us to chill in. It's exactly what the doctor ordered!

The four of us had so much fun playing games and drinking that my siblings and I accidentally slept over. In the morning, Dylan called our worried parents and I thought it would smooth it over with them if we brought Sydney, Issac and their kiddos with us. I was hoping it would help our parents to forget about being mad at us. When we got home, Mom spotted our surprise guests and she nearly knocked Sydney over. Thankfully Dad was there to catch Sydney. And yes, my plan worked like a charm!

All of a sudden, I got trapped into a hug. I looked up to find myself in Uncle Mason arms! I was about to question what he was doing here, but then it occurred to me that it was Sunday. Every Sunday night, the Baker's come over for dinner. I think it partly makes up for my parents building an estate in the middle of nowhere. So I hugged my favorite uncle back really tight. I miss him, Aunt Beth and their kids so much! I wished I could live closer to them!

When Syd and Isaac got hitched, Syd got married into the Dolphin Wave family too. So now I get someone outside of Lily who understands our 'village'. I'm not sure who came up with the term to explain our unique street, but I think it fits perfectly! I'm grateful that Lily and I had the pleasure to be born into this village and honestly it's made who I am today!

"Hey neighbor! Funny running into you here!" Isaac said smiling at Uncle Mason.

I can't believe that I actually spent the night at my childhood home! But to be honest, Isaac and Sydney completely redid the house and added an amazing basement too. The young Willis family, what they're known as, and the Baker's are next door neighbors. (How could I forget that?!)

After dinner, we just hung out like a big and happy family! It was so nice! So after everyone headed home, I retired to my room. Monday would be here before we knew it and I wanted go to bed before the wee hours of the morning and actually have a chance to get a full night's rest; eight hours give or take. Right before I jumped into bed, my phone rang again. It was Ryan asking if tomorrow would be a good day to have the interview. I still had to work my normal shift, but after work I would hightail it over to see him. He was content with that.

The next morning, I woke up to screaming. It's not unusual for there to be noise in this estate because of all the kids living here, but it was a ear piercing high pitched noise. So Dylan, Lil and I bolted out of our rooms and sprinted into the foyer to find that it was our baby sister screaming her head off. I wouldn't be upset if I didn't see Dad with a stupid evil grin on his face.

"Oh good. You're up."

"What the hell?" (I totally wanted to say this, but he beat me to it.)

"Dylan Philip, put ten dollars in the swear jar."

(When did we get a swear jar? And where the hell is it?)

He nodded.

"But no, it's good morning Dad."

"MOM!" I yelled out of annoyance.

"What?" she asked, coming into the foyer.

"Your husband used Leah to wake us all up." I said, explaining the situation.

"So that's the screaming I heard."

"Yep."

She walked over to him and slapped him playfully on the arm. "Dad, knock it off. That's no way to wake up my precious babies. I'm sorry on behalf of your father, everyone. I know how hard Mondays are, so I made strong coffee and a healthy breakfast."
