chapter one

"Hey Maicy could we meet up at the park today my friend is having a birthday and I'd like you to tag along" Sheila was my newly treasured and quite adventurous friend I'd grown fond of her that I couldn't turn down her offer..."sure let me prepare myself and I'll meet you there" I replied...we had just completed the semester and I was making preparations to go home and since my mom was fond of me I wanted to go home soon...I had to cancel my plans for Sheila and go home the next day

I prepared myself and headed to meet Sheila at the park ...she was a short petite jovial and quite beautiful girl I mean who wouldn't want to be friends with her? Not forgetting she was a multi talented dancer and did a little bit of acting...I felt a great connection to her because people kept telling me we look alike and we have a resemblance of personality...

I met Sheila at the park with her friend and dance partner Frank being an introvert, I greeted them and silently sat beside them fidgeting the whole time I was on phone because I didn't exactly know how to make a complete conversation with people...

A few moments later my friend Taylor came in with Glenn... Taylor was a distant friend we'd met every once in a while and I was not even used to him..."Heey Maicy you look good today...a hug maybe? Taylor jokingly said ...I gave him a shy smile followed by a hug.."I always love it when Maicy hugs me..she gives tight hugs" he added...I can't lie I was quite flattered that I couldn't stop smiling

"Meet Glenn my best friend","Glenn meet Maicy"...I was officially introduced to Glenn."Heey Maicy how come I've never seen you and you're close to my friends" I honestly asked myself the same question.. Glenn was an attractive guy with a sense of style good hair and best of all he was a dancer. I mean how come I never noticed him...we'd meet in several occasions.. we first met on the swimming pool funny enough he was my instructor then we later met in a certain event.  He didn't notice me...well I didn't notice him either but I remembered this afterwards.

I honestly didn't feel romantically attracted to Glenn , friendship wouldn't hurt though. Being an introvert I just sat and watched them dance and have fun...I was smiling the whole time because I found them interesting I mean they knew the beauty of life they wouldn't waste a single minute they knew how to have fun...I was poor at that though
"Come on Maicy let's dance,"Glenn called out..."No am good and furthermore am the worst dancer" I replied and giggled
He persuaded me for quite a while until I finally gave in

We went on some slow typpa salsa dance with a song which turned out to be fav later on "radio love" after a while it started raining..."I love rain " he said..wow I loved rain too I had no problem being rained on and I was quite amazed by the coincidence. We danced,played we literally had our best moments and I was glad I met him. He was a cool guy and I couldn't mind being friends with him.

"It's 6pm guys I need to go home" I told the crew ...."Do you really need to go? Let's have fun tonight pretty please" I hated disappointing people especially new friends but I badly needed to go home
"Glenn we'll meet some other time" ok I agreed to stay back after being persuaded for a while.

I was not a party animal but I had to keep up with them. We first went to Taylor's place to grab something to eat. Sheila and Frank lived together so they went to their place, Glenn Taylor and I went to Taylor's. Yes I did notice Glenn was hitting on me but I'd recently broken up with my boyfriend and I wasn't ready for another relationship so I let my thoughts slide. Since I was the only girl I was asked to cook. I went to the kitchen and being a good cook I quickly began to cook.

Glenn came in after a while and held my waist from the back. I wasn't in any position to resist because I naturally felt attracted. We started kissing and caressing damn he was so charming, so romantic I wanted to resist but i couldn't. "I'll admit you're irresistible but I have to cook" I told him this as I slightly pushed him away. He had this beautiful seductive smile which attracted me more to him (in a friendly way)

Glenn couldn't take his eyes off me, I'd cover my face with my hands every time I noticed him stare. It became even more difficult while we were eating because I found it hard to comfortably eat knowing too well someone was sure as hell staring at me. "Let's dance again" Glenn told me after eating. "Damn this guy doesn't tire" I thought out loud. "Nah told you am the worst dancer" I replied. I sat on the couch watching TV and he came and sat next to me. We started kissing again, touching and just living the moment...I loved it.

Glenn took my hand and led me to the bedroom whole time we were kissing and caressing. He pinned me to the wall and we got all nasty but I was feeling guilty I mean how can you get nasty with a guy you've just met?.
"Guys were supposed to go have fun tonight" Taylor said.
"You go Maicy and I will just have fun here" Glenn replied. I was relieved since I didn't want to go out at 11pm in the name of having fun.

Taylor left leaving Glenn and I. It's like Glenn had me under him because I was yearning for his touch, his lips and his body.
"I want you to be my girlfriend Maicy" Glenn said ," I feel like I've fallen deeply in love with you" he added. Is there anything like love at first sight? I mean he didn't know me well enough to ask me to be his girl. " Am honestly not ready for a relationship right now " I replied. I noticed the disappointment in his face and I was quite moved, "give me a little time and we'll see how it goes" I added

We spent the whole night having fun getting to know each other and just playing. He was different not like the rest. He was gentle calm and understanding have I mentioned he was a romantic freak. His vibe was on another level , he left me yearning for more. I didn't want the night to end but it had to.
