Panting for oxygen
A slow heart with a mind racing double time
Tear lined eyes with lips holding a smile
Yet feeling so cold
Purple nails over those cold fingertips
Deep freckels on a grey skin
Shivers and clattering teeth, under this ephemeral sunlight, how come?
Shallow breaths and trembling hands
What's that under the sleeves?
Fresh cuts, small burns on that perfect skin
Crying for help
Mute call, silent screams with loud whispers
Tainted rain behind dead eyes of abyss
Sunken stomach
In this garden full of fruits and
A plate white and clean
Like a bulletproof corpse
And an anthology dead poetry
Wandering in a field of fire
Feet in ice
Running away
Panting for oxygen.
