The next morning I decided to text Brennen. Hey baby, let's go for some Coffee & Lunch in a while? He replied minutes later. Of course babe, I'll pick you up in an hour. I smiled to myself as I read his message. Today while we have lunch I will explain everything to Brennen. He deserves to know. I can't keep secrets from him, he's my boyfriend & I know the guilt will eat me alive. Brennen will be upset, but I know he will get over it cause I didn't go along with Colby's plans. I got up from bed & started getting ready. I went to my vanity & started doing my makeup, then my hair. I decided to do some curls, I brushed them out so it'll be more like natural waves. I walked into my closet & grabbed my go to outfit, a white crop top & my favorite pair of high waisted shorts with my black chunky boots. I stare at myself from my long mirror. I looked good & felt good, Especially because I was finally going to tell Brennen everything...
I went back to my vanity & put on my favorite perfume, I grabbed my phone & that's when Brennen sent a text saying he was outside. I felt butterflies in my stomach. I get out of my apartment & Brennen was standing outside his car, he smiled so big as he saw me. He starts walking towards me as I'm walking towards him. "You look Beautiful my love, you always take my breath away." He says as he's opening his arms. "Stop babe you're making me blush, you're so sweet!" I say as I wrap my hands around his neck. His arms go around my waist & hugs me tightly. Brennens hands rubbing my back in circles. He stops & looks at me, then looks at my lips & reaches down for a kiss. I closed my eyes & puckered my lips till I felt his on mine. I always love his sweet kisses. "Let's go get lunch before I change my mind & we'll end up in your bedroom instead." He says & we both start to laugh. He walks to the passenger side & opens the car door for me. "Well thank you handsome," I say while getting in. He quickly gives a slap on my ass. Oh I think I'm tempting him. I really wanted to stay home with him, but that can be done after lunch. Maybe some makeup sex? Ha. We finally took off, we were jamming to some music singing outloud to our favorite songs. I love him so much, he's perfect for me. He grabs my hand & gives it kisses. I can't help but blush. This man really knows how to make me fall in love with him all over again...
We arrive to my favorite coffee shop. We walk inside hand in hand & ordered some fancy salad that we always get, this place prepares them nicely, everything's always fresh, He also ordered his cold brew & I ordered my go to almond iced coffee. We sat down & started chatting away. I told him how I finally asked for a week vacation from work. "You deserve to rest baby, I'm glad you asked for a little break." He smiles while looking deeply into my eyes. He cares so much. The waiter comes & puts our food & coffees on our table. We both started eating, that's when my mind started to wander. I still have to tell Brennen about what happened. I really don't want to now. We're both having a good time. I don't want to ruin this date, I also didn't have the guts to tell Shea what happened. I rather just wait till I'm ready. I couldn't do it now. "You know I love you alot Hailey, you're everything to me." Oh gosh he's making me soft. "Awwww babe you know I love you alot too & you're everything to me aswell." He smiles so big. I love that smile of his. This was killing me. Not telling him was killing me deep inside. "HAILEY!" I hear a familiar voice. I turn around & it was Shea. Oh no, of course Colby right behind her. She comes & says hi to Brennen & I. I'm surprised Colby did the same. They sat with us & Shea begins to tell us she was craving coffee & made Colby bring her, We all giggled. I was trying so hard not to look at Colby but I found myself making eye contact a few times. He looked amazing. I wondered how he was so good at acting normal, as if nothing happened last night. As if he didn't come into my apartment telling me that he likes me. How does he do that. Brennen, Shea & I were doing most of the talking, Colby would just agree with things we were conversating about. In the middle of it Colby started giving shea kisses on her cheek, she started giggling & he glanced at me & winked fast. Was he trying to make me jealous. I cleared my throat, I think it was working. We all finally finished our food & drinks. I really wanted to get out of here, it was getting awkward for me. We said our goodbyes & gave eachother hugs. When I lightly hugged Colby he squeezed my waist tightly. I moved away quickly. He was so good at not being seen. "Nice to see you man." Brennen tells Colby. "Nice seeing you too." He replies. Atleast he wasn't being as rude like lastnight. We all walked out into our vehicles. "This unexpected hangout was better than last time, Colby was acting nice, he's actually pretty cool." Brennen says. I looked at him. I wish he knew how colby really was, but I couldn't say it just yet. "He's okay, nothing special." He giggles as I said that & holds my hand. "How about we get to your apartment & I'll show you what's really special." I was excited. I needed something to get my mind off things & this was the solution for now..
