"Where'd they go!?" She shouted quickly and Klaus pointed towards the staircase next to them. She didn't say a word as she quickly climbed those stairs as well, nerves swelling in her stomach as she frantically searched for her siblings. It wasn't too late. It couldn't be.

The stairs lead into the audience, and she hurriedly strode down the aisle towards the stage. Allison neared the stage as well, Vanya seeming to smile at them as she noticed them both there. Y/n smiled back, delighted that there was still part of Vanya left. She took in the music around her, letting herself relax slightly. Vanya wasn't going to hurt anyone. She was embracing her powers and with the right approach this could go down without a hitch. But the next few moments, shattered any hope she might've had for her family.

Luther and Diego rushed towards her from both sides of the stage, making the air freeze in her lungs. Both sisters stared in horror as Vanya stood, whipping her bow around, igniting her powers and throwing their brothers into the audience. A blue burst of energy shook the building as screams erupted around them.

Y/n cried out, feeling something rip from her chest, something that weighed in her heart since she had fought Vanya. For the first time since their house was destroyed she felt like herself. No unprovoked rage, no emotionless emptiness, no earth shattering headaches. Tears streamed her cheeks as she stood, her body shaking as she locked eyes with Vanya.

What she saw wasn't her sister. Everything she had felt was displayed on Vanya's expressionless face as people ran for the exits. Y/n's heart raced and she could feel, Vanya's did too as they stared at each other. Everything about them was connected, ever since birth. Their father saw that and saw that they were too much of a risk, creating not only a threat for themselves but for the rest of the world.

Vanya turned away, forcing her fellow musicians back into their seats. They fearfully played as Vanya stepped forwards continuing to play. Y/n pulled her gaze from her, ushering people out of the rows. "Go! Go! Move!" She shouted. Pushing herself forward to Allison who was further down the row. Y/n grabbed her arms tugging her towards their brothers. The audience began to empty and Vanya unleashed another burst of energy knocking Y/n and Allison back into the chairs. They crouched down, wincing at the pain in their ribs from being thrown.

"She's stronger than expected." Luther shouted. "Yeah." Diego agreed. Allison threw her notepad and Y/n turned into the direction she had thrown it narrowing her glare at the boys. "What the hell is wrong with you guys?! Are you stupid?!" Y/n screamed, wishing she had something to throw at them as well. "Yeah. We're fine, thanks for asking." Luther said annoyed. "I'm dumbfounded as to how you thought that would work." Y/n snapped. "Look, I lost you both before and I wasn't going to risk you two again." Luther argued.

"So much for the element of surprise. What else we got?" Diego asked, cutting their bickering short. Allison frantically, started moving her arms in a fashion similar to Vanya when she played. "No shit, Allison. Tell us something we don't know." Diego sighed. "She's takking about the violin." Y/n hissed, annoyed as they turned to face Vanya. "It's her lightning rod. We take it from her, we might have a shot." Luther instructed.

As if their situation couldn't get worse, bullets started to rain down at them making them duck down further into the rows. At the sound of the guns, the orchestra fled, leaving Vanya alone on the stage. The gunmen stalked down the aisles, trapping the siblings between their sister and the assassins. Y/n groaned at their luck but if saving the world was easy, well, everyone would be doing it.

"What the hell happened to Klaus? He's supposed to be lookout!" Diego shouted, laying out on the ground to avoid getting shot. "Yeah, you surprised?" Luther yelled back. "What's with all the lollygagging?" A familiar voice called, sounding rather annoyed. "Five, watch out!" Luther yelled as Y/n scrambled forward, dragging him into the row she had been covering in. She hugged him close, relishing in the warmth that exploded in her heart without her skull feeling as though it was being crushed.
