Sapphire eyes slowly losing sight stared up to the darkening sky as stinging rain pelted a broken and bleeding body, with ragged and pained breaths the owner of those beautiful eyes cried out into the damp and dark surroundings. Those responsible chuckled and taunted the broken one, their harsh and vulgar words making her try and curl into a ball away from them only to have pain lace through her small frame. The group of vagabonds drunkenly stumbled down the cobblestone alley way leaving the the woman bleeding out and staring at the sky as she struggled to breath. What seemed like hours her sight dimmed more as she whimpered no longer feeling the sting of the nearly freezing rain on her soft skin, soft patter of foot steps approaching filled her ears as she tried to look in the direction of the noise. A shadow appeared before her... a small cloaked figure kneels down beside her broken body lightly caressing the womans bruised and bleeding face. "Poor little one... what did you do to deserve to be harmed so badly?" the cloaked figure coo'd above the woman "You are losing so much blood, not much longer for this world little one." With small whimpers the woman clung to the figures sleeves struggling to talk before tears stung her eyes. "Please." her voice was hoarse and pleading, the figure lets out a soft sigh and pulls the woman into its embrace cradling her as a mother would a child.
Removing its hood the figure gave a smile that the sapphire eyed woman could barely make out with her failing vision. "By choosing to live you will serve me and be my companion for eternity little one do you still wish to walk this road?" the figure watch the dying woman its eyes steady its form poised. The woman nodded her lips twitching as she fought back a whine at the pain. "Then it will be done." the figure brought its arm up to its face the sound of skin tearing could be heard before the figure leaned down sealing its lips to the womans forcing her to swallow. After pulling away the figure wiped the blood away from the womans lips and cradled her closer as the womans body started to convulse. "Shh it will be over soon Lite kjæledyr, then no one will hurt you anymore."
The first thing to return to Emilia was her sense of smell, everything stood out to her the normal damp and stinging smell of the lower districts didn't linger however. Upon the realization that she wasn't dead and wasn't at her home her body tensed the most minor of movements causing her to flail into wall as a light bell like giggle was heard. "Its good to see you awake Lite kjæledyr, although you should not be standing let alone throwing yourself into walls." Like a newborn pup Emilia lifted her head looking around in the darkness to see whom was speaking. "W-where am I." although she was confused she didn't feel endangered it was almost a safe feeling she was cloaked in just by the voice of the one speaking to her. "You are home my dear, alive and well not completely alive but not dead either." the figure smirked although Emilia couldn't see it. "Open your eyes Lite kjæledyr so that you may look upon your new home and protector." With a small huff Emilia puffed out her cheeks a heavy flush tinting them at the mention of her eyes being closed. "My name is Emilia not Lite whats it you are saying." Struggling she opened her eyes to see a dimly lit room with dark cerulean curtains and a fourposter bed with soft fur bedding although what caught her wandering eyes the most was the hand carved chair in the corner of the room almost throne like and sitting upon it was a woman that looked much like herself smiling smugly down to her. "Hello Lite kjæledyr I am Aliann, your maker and teacher, welcome to the night."
