In the Fall season in Japan, the second most colorful, only being beaten by the Spring, the streets were bustling with students making their way to school, adults to work and children playing in parks. Each and every one of them had their own lives to live and problems to deal with, but they got through them. Life is to be lived, full of color and adventure! However, for one young woman, the world had lost its color long ago. She was living in wait of a chance to die.

A young man was wishing he had the time others did. He was living against the clock and his only goal was to make sure he made the absolute most of every second he had left. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, but what if you had nobody to miss you? This was one ordeal the man had faced for most of his short life. He was dying for a chance at life.

By pure coincidence, these two were linked by a commonality. Music.

In her miserable life, it was her only source of relief for the anguish she had kept internalized for so long. It was an escape.

In his short existence, riddled with illness, he had played music for as long as he could remember. 

In this season of change, although they did not yet know, their paths would soon collide, changing their respective fates forever.

They were about to go on a life-changing journey...
