When I found out

It was July 10, 2019. I lied on my bed as I watched the ceiling. I stood up, I felt my feet touch the soft carpet of my bedroom. I walked over to my mirror. I have dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. I have a thin waist, thick thighs, and a juicy booty. I know, what a whore but don't blame me, blame my mom. She thinks looking pretty is the only way to fit in and I will admit it. My mom has made me get multiple plastic surgeries.

I felt a vibrate in my back pocket. It was a text from Gracie, my best friend since we were in kindergarten. You see, I'm going into eleventh grade so we've been friends for a long time. I know her like the back of my hand. The text said:

Gracie: whatsup gurl

I replied with:

Ellie: Nothing much, u?

I waited a few minutes with no respond. "Bzzzz," my phone finally vibrated.

Gracie: Srry, busy, gotta go

Ellie: Oh ok, bye

I put my phone back in my pocket. I took a deep breath and sighed, "She never has time for me anymore". "Knock, Knock, Knock," Someone knocked on the door. "It's Me," Said a female voice, it was my mom. I rolled my eyes and said, "Come in".

For some weird reason I felt like something bad was about to happen but I quickly pushed away that feeling and put a fake smile on my face as she walked in. "So... how do I say this," My mom said. She went and sat on my bed. I could see tears forming in her eyes. "I know how you love it here. Your friends, your room, your neighborhood... but your father got a promotion and... well... we have to move".

I felt this sudden rage but I didn't show it. "Ok," I said. She looked at me with a surprised look, "Your taking this very well, thanks for not making this hard for us. There is cut up strawberries on the counter if you get hungry".

She walked out of my room and shut my door. Now it wasn't justrage that I felt. It was sadness too. I was going to have to leave all of myfriends behind. I grabbed the remote next to me and threw it at the wall withall my strength, I broke it but it didn't matter much to me, I was going tolose everything.
