Normally, you'd get the usual run down of a love story. Where they met, how dreamy he was (or she) nobody's judging you, what circumstances led you to meet your significant other.. that's how a normal love story should go, right? Wrong. I'm here to burst that bubble and put a whole new twist on it.
Sometimes life throws us lemons and we make beef stew with them. That makes absolutely no sense and neither does my life. I've lived a very boring life, going to school, writing essay after essay, preparing for my life beyond high school. It's been tiring at times, trying? Sure but it's been worth it. I've been accepted into as many colleges as I can count on my twenty phalanges, my parents are very proud of me and dammit it feels good to know that all thirteen years of hard work and no play have paid off. But as soon as I turned my tassel and walked across our obnoxiously expensive football field, ending my high school career.. I've wanted more.
So that's where my journey begins. The summer of 2019, my summer to be reckless and wild and who knows, maybe even a little.. daring. I had no idea one crazy idea would lead to romance or heartbreak. I went in like a cow to the slaughter house.. (sorry to all of the vegans out there for that visual).
I'm Winnie, this is my summer. Buckle in. It's going to get wild.
