Oh My Baby Bear! (tweetfic series)

Introduction

There's a bunch of kids, searching for something and it attracts Kyungsoo who is coincidentally passed by. He went closer and asked one of them.

"We saw something. Maybe a puppy but my friend said it is bigger than a puppy."

"Bigger than a puppy? Then, a big dog?" The kid shook.

"Smaller than a usual dog. We wanted to catch it but we couldn't find it."

"What do you wanna do if you found it?" The kid went silent. Kyungsoo smiles.

"Hey, kids! It's gonna rain soon. Let it be. Your health is more important." He shouted to the rest of them. Luckily the kids obeyed and went off from the spot.

"I wonder—" and rain starts to drip.

"Oh God, it will get heavier. I should—oh?" He saw something came out from the bush. It might be the puppy that the kids searched so Kyungsoo steps closer.

"Oh my God..it's a..cub." The rain is pouring more and more so Kyungsoo decided to take the cub with him and run to his home.

Once he back, he quickly wrapped the cub in a warm blanket. The cub is freezing and apparently slowly drifted into sleep.

"What if he get sick.. I should brought him to the clinic instead.." His mind speaks.

"Hold on. Chanyeol." Kyungsoo took his phone from his coat and dialed a number.

It took time for Chanyeol. Kyungsoo observed it from far.

"Soo, come here."

"Why? Something is wrong?" Chanyeol chuckles.

"Do you know what it is?"

"Urm..a cub? Baby bear?" Chanyeol whispers into his ear.

"A..hybrid." Kyungsoo's eyes went rounded. A hybrid is something rare to be found nowadays. Only a few of it were seen. Including the cute little puppy that Chanyeol have, Hyunnie.

"Is he like your puppy hybrid?"

"Yes, he is. He will be forever as a cub, but his human form will grow up. Bear doesn't take time to grow up like real human." Somehow it get Kyungsoo anxious.

"So..I-I will see his human form sooner or later?" His face blushed. Chanyeol laughed on his face.

"You're cute, Soo. Yes, you will! But please don't be shy. Act like you see a small kid. Good luck!" Chanyeol packed his stuff and leave Kyungsoo with the hybrid. The cub is still sleeping soundly. He put another big layer of cover on top of him, just in case.

"I need a shower. And a dinner."

Yeah, no dinner. He is too sleepy and went straight to bed. It is weekend tomorrow so he can sleep as much as he wants.

The alarm strikes his morning. It is barely hit 9:00 am. Getting off from his bed with his heavy eyelids, Kyungsoo walks out to the kitchen. He was completely forgot about the hybrid until he saw a mess on the floor.

"What even—OH MY YOU STARTLED ME!" He almost got a heart attack when a small figure showed up in front of him. He covered himself with the big blanket from last night.

"A...kid. Hi?" The small kid blinks. Kyungsoo knelt down and the kid moved back a little.

"Don't be afraid. I am the one who brought you here. You...can speak? What's your name?" He seems to understand when he handed out a tag that he took from his sleeping spot.

"Kim? You have last name too, I see. Kim...Jongin?"

"Nini."

"You can speak!! Hi Nini! I am Kyungsoo!"

"K-kyung?" A bit weird but it's okay.

"Yes, Kyung." Jongin, or Nini, he is smiling. So adorable. Kyungsoo melts. Nini comes closer and hug Kyungsoo.

"Nini is hungry..." Too adorable.

"Okay okay. Let's eat. What do you want?"

"Meat."

A few years later, Jongin is all grown up. His bear form is still small but he is growing up. To be surprised, Jongin's human form is as grown as Kyungsoo did. They are more like a friend now.

"YOU BOUGHT HIM A BEAR ONESIE WHEN HE IS ACTUALLY A BEAR HIMSELF?!" <Yeol>

"HE LOOKS CUTE AND SHUT UP NOW WHERE IS HYUNNIE!"

"urgh wait." <yeol>

"Sorry bcos he don't wanna get up. Bye." <yeol>

And the text ends. Chanyeol is so protective over the puppy.

"Kyung...it is raining..we can't go out." Jongin sits beside him with a pout.

"I told you but you won't listen." Still pouting. Maybe angry because his claws are slowly appearing. 

"No claws, Jongin. You ruined the couch."

"Hmmm" he sighs but hide his claws anyways.

"Let's wait for the rain to stop." Jongin crossed his arms.

"The rain might stop nearly night. No one at the park at night!" He is still angry. Kyungsoo chuckles. He slipped his hand into his pocket sleeve and take out something.

"Tadaa!! Two coupons!" Jongin took a glances and suddenly his eyes go bright. Not to mention that his cute ears start to show up.

"We are going to eat?! Is that a meat restaurant?!"

"BBQ! Wanna go or not?"

"I WANT! KYUNG IS THE BEST!"

It is always the best when it comes to meat.

"Not angry anymore?" Jongin shakes his head.

"Happy?" He nods.

"Mind to give me a—" Jongin knows what it is. A hug. Kyungsoo loves it. It is warm.

So warm.
